Romans 12:9-12

9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Hugging someone is one of the expressions of love. So hugs must be sincere. Yes, we hate those who take advantage. Discernment is needed. Yet, God sees everything. If the person you are hugging is not sincere, he's accountable to God. But if it violates your conscience hugging someone, then just give a handshake. What matter is faith expressing itself through love. Galatians 5:6

actually it wasn't the BRO, it was the Sis who posted,
but, I have to say, my precious husband is what I call a 'real-man'
because he will hug and comfort in a blink of an eye,
no matter the person-place-smell!
he doesn't mash em like I do though!:p

I liked what you said, "real man". For men, hugging the same gender doesn't reduce (don't know if this is the right term) their mascullinity. You're blessed to have a squeezer huggy husband ^0*.

I hug some people, but mostly only family and close family friends. But I have to be careful who I hug, because I cannot handle hugging anyone that I am attracted to. Because my thoughts don't behave themselves, and inevitably go to places they shouldn't lol.

Hello! To all my friends here in CC:

I do have a great fellowship with all of you. I felt like I've known you all for a long time. My goal is to meet a friend personally and that is fieles. And prayed for a friend who is praying for love to be contagious and that is tourist <3 JesusLives. So much love to spread. I know the people at the outside world are going crazy, but I rather focus to how much love the people could give.

I have to prepare myself for a big project and the construction will be on next month, Oct. 1.

I won't be communicating with you for a long time. I'll be back by middle of December to greet you the merriest event in the world - Christmas!

But I leave you a thread, "Do you hug?" for you to post your 'huggy' day experiences whether in church or in other places. Much as I'd like to know about Tourist and JesusLives' 'hugs of the moment', :D and me being thrilled ever since!, I have to control myself and give a full attention to the project.

Let me start the tradition...

I was miffed at the wife today, was gonna kinda have a talk with her when she got home. But when she walked in the Spirit said, two of you in a bad mood isn't going to be any better. So I hugged her, and lapped her, and golly gee if the rest of the evening didn't go well... :)
