My profile pic is from the closing scene of the 1993 film The Gospel According to Matthew. "Jesus," played by Bruce Marchiano, is walking away, then turns and motions with his arm to come follow Him. I used to love this movie when it first came out.

My name is a play on "resident alien," which is a person born outside the US and has established residence here but is not a citizen. My residency at the moment is here on this planet, but it's definitely not my home.

"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."

I neglected to mention my avatar :whistle:

I chose it for the lovely shade of mauve it carries. I used to have a wig much like that, in color, length, and style :D I had bought it to wear at/for Halloween, and then decided to wear it more often, because, well, why not? :giggle: That was before my conversion ;) Also, some people used to make comments about "my" unicorn which were often quite amusing and endearing :)

I don't recall exactly how my siggy came about other than @Dino246 making a suggestion along the lines of God's Grace. I expanded upon his idea and have not updated my siggy pic since. That most likely would have been back in 2018, shortly after I started designing panels. The two links under the image go to two of my threads, one showcasing my poetry, and the other displaying my digital designs.

pretty please. Otherwise have a lovely day. Is this a Christian topic? probably not but your answers may be. I will go first to encourage you lot to respond.
I chose TheNarrowPath because it scares me to wander off that back to that wide path when Im not paying attention to God. I got bored with my pic so changed it to something that catches my eye eg I took that pic today, there were flowers for sale and it reminded me of my toddler, stopping every few feet to pick wild flowers for me on our walks. I dont have a signature because I dont know how to do that yet.
Profile picture is of me when we went hiking to a waterfall.

Username is how I feel and my journey in faith

Signatures are my testimony and a key moment in breaking anxiety in my life.

My user name is my name. Comes from my father, I guess. He'd read a piece in the paper that used a "handle", or was "anonymous", and he'd say - "why would I bother with what somebody says, when they don't even have the guts to put their name on it". So I use my name.

The avatar is what I do for pleasure. I've been playing Bluegrass for 45 years, and it's my favorite thing to do. (youtube under bcarabbio).

I don't bother with "Signatures".

It fits my life.
Blessed with 76 years on good health.
Blessed with a Godly, loving wife for 59 years.
Blessed with great kids and grandsons.
Blessed with a home that is dry, warm in winter, and cool in summer.
Blessed with plenty of food.
Blessed with a local church family.
And most important, loved by a God that sent His Son to pay my sin debt and grant me eternal life.
I could go on and on and on.
It is not about stuff, it is about spiritual blessings.
I am indeed a RichMan.

My user name is/was a boo-boo
when setting up my account it wouldn't let me use "DOROTHY" so I added the "aka" in front of it, except it was too late when I realized I had missed the second "O".
Maybe I should change it to "AKADORKY"

No signature line (yet).

right? :D

when our youngest daughter is pleased with me she tells me i'm the sweetest peach. (she's the truly sweetest peach though)
i wonder if every language uses food words as endearments, do you think?

btw my French profs would have my head... it's là là... means there, there, my little cabbage.
i'm just an incredibly lazy typist (facepalm) lol

My username is partly my real name. Now, my given name was Jean, but everybody’s always used Jenny, so I changed it from Jean. Also, in Norway where I live now, Jean is a boy’s name. It’s pronounced like they do in France, so they can’t pronounce it correctly anyways. The Mae part is just for fun.

The avatar I chose because she’s got red hair like myself, and cause she’s better looking than me lol.

The "mae" part seems to go very well with the avatar. She looks like the kind of girl who will demonstrate her pistol accuracy if a guy gets fresh with her.

My user name is a continuous reminder to me of how i need to walk by faith, not by sight. Hebrews 11 really impacted my life , and the scriptures that say all things are possible to those that believe.
