Nothing that enters from the outside defiles a person. Only the things that come out of the person defiles the person. The things that enter into a person goes to the belly, not the heart and then out of the draught, purging all food, but the things that come out of a person come out of the heart and they defile the person. So what is it when Jesus says, these people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me? It is not enough to say, but you must also obey. And where your heart is, will come out of your mouth. And where your treasure is, their will your heart be also. Is your treasure Jesus Christ? If I took away your games, what would you do? If I took away your tv what would you do? Would you be able to rest? All temporary things will perish, but eternal things are forever. You cannot serve two masters.
