I wonder if it's because you're probably more into documentaries then fictional. You come across that way.
I do? I truly love fiction (admittedly different genres to you) but I also love documentaries. Sadly, many documentaries have an evolutionary bent. The Biblical Christian ones have great, truthful content but can't afford the excellent production values of many secular productions. No worries. :)

Lol, In my opinion Christians should just steer clear of the film industry. Not that there couldn't be good Christian films, just that there practically never are... :p

I'm not a big fan of tv. Some tv is okay but personally I find tv boring.
And on top of that there are a lot of shows that are really messed up with all the cussing and sexual things happening in them.
So I find it easier not to watch it.
But I do watch a lot of movies.
There are A LOT of Christian movies. Everything from funny-love-action.
So I'd say if you're looking for something to watch try movies if you're worried about what's on the tv.
Prestley: Just about the best stuff on secular TV is often historical documentaries. If you already like that sort of thing, anyway. Not the same cursing and rude pictures, etc.

Blessings.

There are a lot of Christian movies? But are any of them any good? I can count maybe two or three and they're about Christ and Martin Luther.
I think they are good.
But that's just me. Some aren't so well-made but as far as the story lines go I'd say they good.
But everyone has different taste.

It's a pain to watch tv since I have been saved...I still like my little screen but man...smh...the devil is everywhere on it !!!

So I was wondering...what do you watch ? how do you filter ? Do you even watch tv ? Are there "christian" friendly shows ??
Yes, TV is largely an abomination now. But with the internet, there is now an incredible variety on YouTube, etc., just about anything you want from wholesome to porn. I don't know of any filter that is perfect on the internet.

Myself, I got rid of cable and put an antenna on my roof with an amplifier. I believe I get better quality pictures that way for broadcast channels and there are one or more oldies channels.

We sure have come a long way since I Luv Lucy, with twin beds from married persons. And I expect broadcast TV and cable to continue to degenerate.

Prestley: With some purportedly Christian movies, sometimes the Christian bit becomes more evident towards the end... :)
