Today some christians don't seem to convinced about the dangers of witchcraft. Several evangelists even say it is "harmless". BUT the history of witchcraft itself and the personal testimonies of ...... former witches....... contradict the "harmlessness of halloween". (if the testimony of Jesus Christ is not enough).

Halloween is not an innocent festival of fun and games. It has left a wide destructive path through all the ages. There are occult (hidden) strings attached. It is becoming more sinister as the years go by and Satan's hand is becoming more obvious to those who are taking notice. Happy Halloween? Don't believe it.

The use of Halloween to encourage witchcraft and occult activities is terribly misguided. We are never in greater danger than in times when we deceive ourselves to the real nature and intent of evil. However innocent Halloween may be at one level, at another level it is very, very dangerous.

Celebrate life. not death.
I PERSONALLY SPIRITUALLY TOTALLY FULLY COMPELTLY AGREE WITH THIS READ THE TESTIMOINES OF THOSE SET FREE FROM THE EVILS OF ALL WICCA WITCHCRAFT!!!..

I guess in summary you could say that the original idea of celebrating saints has now become the celebration of demons..what Christian would want to celebrate demons and call it harmless fun?

a harmless night of demon fun.
jk.
if you're going to a dark mansion with candles and gothic people that will be sacrificing people, you're doing it wrong.
if you're dressing up as a unicorn and going to a party, then there's no harm in that, unless you don't invite me.

God's word tells us not to even put on the appearance of evil so going to a party on the day everyone else is celebrating demons where you will be dressed as a unicorn and everyone else will be dressed up as what? and celebrating what?

This kinda falls apart when parties happen weekly for almost no reason whatsoever in most places.

I honestly think if someone doesn't feel comfortable celebrating Halloween because of its dark past associations, then by all means they shouldn't do it. Especially not out of peer pressure. :) It's a personal thing.

When I was a kid, I didn't really know or care about witchcraft or occult stuff. Halloween was just dressing up silly and getting candy. I saw it as innocent fun. I still do. At least the way we celebrated.
I usually dressed up like a black cat or an angel (one time cleopatra, lol) then went trick-or-treating with my little brother. No evil costumes or anything. I don't see anything wrong with the holiday as long as people keep it clean and fun and don't overdose on sugar, haha.

It's a slippery slope. Harmless fun can easiily slide into not so harmless occultism on this night, so be sensitive to the Holy Spirits leadings and if God says you should get out of an environment then by all means you should do just that. So wear that unicorn costume, but if they start talking about animal scrifice you should go

the idea of halloween celebrating saints was not the origional idea. it was satanic from the start. google the paga roots of halloween and if your really brave type in druids as a key search term.
