I dont think we can stamp it out but rather we must renew our minds with the washing of the word, afterall we've already been crucified with Christ

Wordiness is a bad thing?

(I couldn't help myself. I enjoyed the typo too much. lol)

Stop thinking it's your job to stamp it out. We've got no mad skills to stop any sinful thing about us, which is why we needed the Lord in the first place. So, focus on him, and he'll get you where he wants you.

I become a product of what I hang with... The Bible puts it this way.... bad company corrupts good behavior. So if we are talking close friends, family.... STOP BEING CLOSE!!!! One of my closest people right now is in sin, big time, we were fighting over it. She does not want to leave it so I gave her over like the scripture says. We have talked twice, on the phone, lasted less than 5 min... it was a hi how are you... glad your fine. When G-d slaps her upside her head and she is right with Him again we will be close again... I have not stopped being close as in praying for her, just as in relationship she is ungodly right now.

YOU STAMP IT OUT BY STAMPING IT OUT.... IT'S MAKING A DECISION AND DO IT NO MATTER THE COST....

If you are referring to strangers be a witness... If you are referring to personal sin.... STOP!!!!

Yikes. Wordiness sounds like quite the annoying condition...

As for stamping out the world...try renting a Death Star for the cheapest price you can find.

The chorus we would sing in church when I was a lad........."Turn your eyes upon Jesus.....look full in His wonderful face......And the things of earth will grow strangely dim......In the light of His glory and grace.........AMEN

You can still have friends of the world, and still be yourself. Why should the influence of the world be stronger than your influence on the world? And if you put a wall between you and the world, then how can you do God's work and influence the world? That's what I think.

I believe it's "If you walk in the spirit then you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh".
