There is not one thing wrong with resting in His Blessed assurances of Salvation. Nothing wrong with NOT wanting to suffer, being grateful that He does not abandon our Souls to Hell. It is a blessing that in His presence there is fullness of Joy, that at His right hand there are pleasures forever more.

Lord though, regardless of all that you offer, regardless the consequences of believing in You or not, I want to stir up the truth that the greatest reason for believing in You, walking with You, will always be NOTHING more or less than just You.

I am so grateful that You died and rose again in victory to reconcile us unto God. There are no words to describe the most Selfless, most Merciful, most Holiest act of love ever given. No words to convey how Glorious You and Your works are.

May we all draw near every moment, of every day, for there is nothing Sweeter more Amazing, more Sustaining, more Faithful than He.

Lord, may we walk with You, not for what we get from thee, but just because Your Presence and Truth Shine so radiantly.

I wish I could give you an award of some kind that was beautiful and utterly pleasing to read. The honor and absolute joy that you brought upon fathers heart with this post warms my heart and I too relish being in his presence. I can have the worst day where everything that could have gone wrong did but if at the end of the day I can have just five minutes with him resting in his presence and soaking in his waters then the entire day was worth it.

Part of a poem I wrote was inspired by being and soaking in his presence and I think it best describes what you posted

The stillness of the night haunts me, sleep is a dream that I chase. I lay in the darkness that surrounds my sleepless self speaking of great wonders with the king in my hearts inner most voice. Dark and still the night may be but bright and moving is my soul for I relish this season with my beloved and I sing of my devotion to his name. For you o Lord delight in those who delight in you and warm is your smile as my heart pours it's depths into your soul. How I long o father for the world to know this wonder, this moment of consciousness in which two hearts are finally one. My words pierce your heart as your own have pierced mine yet not by the tongue of the flesh but the tongue that resides within.

My love and my cherished one my cup runs over, the stillness is here now as a serene crystal river. the wonder and beauty of the waters in my soul quench my parched and dry soul, unkowing to me my soul was parched as I remember now why I love your waters so. The lips of my soul taste it's sweetness and goodness, the eyes of my soul wonder in the brightness of the crystal hued waters and stare at it's wonder and beauty with awe. The tongue of my soul whispers the greatness of the kings river and longs to soak this tired body in it's waters. to feel the coolness and freshness for my skin to soak in it's it's radiance and life and to stay in it with my king forever more.

Ty for your kind words I love to express my heart in psalms and if you like this one I have written many more in my thread Blain's psalms if you ever want to check it out I don't know how to link a thread but it is in the misc. section on the second page.
