Things like this (below) looked, to me, as a denial.

No mtter it could be true, but it´s a personal dischage of responsibility, if getting married is a "duty" unilaterally done?

If you´ve read that Bible (at least Genesis) you´ve seen Isaac received the blessing of God (instead of his older brother)

Before Isaac was old enough, before he knew what it was a LIVING sacrifice, his dad was about to kill him (as a sacrifice) before the Lord so, any moment when he was younger than me, his Dad was deeply concerned on his child´s... Celibacy?

Ismael went somewhere else!

He was NOT an enemy to get a GF but, before he grew too old, his father also THOUGHT about him and, the more Abraham worked, the more God prospered his life: Spiritually (1st) and materially (he wasn´t a church mouse). He worked HARD!

I think I remember Ismael was good at hunting...

What was it the thing Isaac was good at? Well! It´s not my business but, God blessed him, because Isaac was Abraham´s seeds to multiply His blessing on earth.

If Isaac knew HE WAS BLESSED, by God Himself... Why would he be worried about?

Conversely:

Samson was DESPERATE to be married...

He gave several shots and, no one told me what he missed... Only his hair or his secular eyes?

"I want to marry that girl, dad" "Bring her to me!" -he said- and soon after he was betrayed.

Isaac was blessed!

Rebekka saw him ... Handsome?

But, if he lacked anything, he had:

1) God´s BLESSING above his head.

2) A rich dad who blessed him before he died.

3) Loyal (and well dressed servants)

Do you think God missed anything when he blessed Abraham?

I don´t think it so.

- Who´s that man over there? -She asked Abraham´s servant.

- What? Who?... I can´t see well  The sun is shining and I´m wearing new fashioned black glasses here, in Aram?

Isaac had everything, except someone to woo...

Conversely, Ruth, a new comer, had these issues...

Two disappointments:

(1) Losing her husband, (2) Losing her homeland.

(These two loses imply other loses that would make her life difficult. )

You´ve found you don´t belong.

Twoo 1.png

You´ve thought that´something went wrong, when
You´ve entered one place.

Twoo 2.png

and you´re led another way... Trading? (Cheap)

Twoo 3.png

What? Are they trying to lure you away? By trading, by offering something new you didn´t have.

You´ve walked that place all around...

And nothing is found.

What would you do?
