Knowing who He is, would you have the guts to go up and talk to Him? If so what would you say/do?

I don't think I'd have the guts to be within 100 feet of Him. I'd be too ashamed, LOL

Shoot, I'd RUN to Him and bow down and cry "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lamb of God."

I would praise Him.......and thank Him, and worship Him......

(but we don't have to imagine what we would do............because, ONE DAY SOON, we will see Him.......)

Talked with a young man in his thirties in the summer of 2011. I'd almost swear He was our Lord. His appearance was like that of a Middle Eastern man with short to mid-length hair and a beard. He was shorter in stature. He carried himself well. He spoke to me at a time when I was in great mental and emotional turmoil. He talked with me about work. I was building a love seat sized bench out of some wood I recycled from an outdoor wood deck. He spoke with me for a few minutes. He had no car. I never saw him get into one. I never saw where he went when he left. No car passed. He was on foot. He was dressed in casual attire, but clean and groomed. I can't explain how I felt when he spoke with me. It was like I knew who he was. He was kind, but not afraid or shy. I don't know. I just don't know. Either way, he impacted my life positively. He must not have been bad for me. The impact helped save me from self-destruction. I don't know. Could have been nothing. I just feel it in my heart. I can't explain.

If your talking like His glory being veiled like it was during the Earthly ministry nothing would initially attract you to Him. Now if others who had been healed or whatever were making commotion and you got curious, and decided to see what He was about then you might have a chance to interact with Him. In this scenario is it like Jesus did not come till our time? Our if He just popped up now after you are saved? Because then the Holy Spirit would make you notice Him perhaps, even if the glory was veiled in flesh, now if it was His glorified body, it would be completely different.

PANCAKES, honey -- I don't mean to "change the tone" of your thread. I know that, sometimes, it can be beneficial for us to ask "what if" type questions; however, it can also sometimes be "dangerous" if we do not keep our answers within the boundaries of that which is scriptural...

I really think this needs a response:

And, here it is... :

Please read this post.

An angel?

Hebrews 13:

2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

( maybe )

The Lord Jesus Christ, Himself?

Not a chance.

So, the Lord Jesus will not show Himself in casual attire without his glorified body showing his marks from the cross and suffering? I wondered about that. Thank you. I had no clue where to find that.

Angel? Who knows. I tried to show in my response that I was/am skeptical about who it was. It was so weird, though and very timely. I was at a point where I was truly thinking of how to do myself in. I mean, I was working and thinking hard about it, considering the consequences and ways to carry out my intentions.

What he told me was not in any way harmful. It would not draw me away from my faith in Jesus Christ. That's why I considered the person, if not Our Lord, might still have been sent by God. Who knows? It could even have been a mortal human. I am certain, though, that I did not see his vehicle. He said he had a van parked down the street. No one withing walking distance has a van. I've asked around.

Strange, to say the least. No wings or any spectacular lights or halos, :) by the way. He was a man in form, tone, dress, etc.

Glad I came back here and looked. I might have missed your post. Thank you. :)

"You are very welcome..." :D

This is one of the reasons why Christians should know and understand - to some reasonable degree - what the Bible says about the End Times Scenario.

The proper biblical knowledge about the return of Christ can help prevent people from being mis-led by false-christs and false 'events'.

I would walk up to him and just talk. And listen. There is nothing I would like more than to just listen to him teach.

I think we understood that this was just a "what if" kinda thread........so, no worries there.......

As for our knowing it's Jesus when He returns.......well, there won't be any great mystery to it..........just watch for

the Eastern Sky to split wide open!

and that will be Him coming back to gather His Church into His loving arms....... :)

I would just like to see if He would be happy to see me or not. I'd also have about a million questions. Shame that the only time this scenario will happen will be when it is too late to change anything.

Happy thought to end my post: Kittens.

If I was able to realize Him being Jesus right there, I would have done what I always do. Prayin' and confessing my sins. But, more likely, I wouldnt recognize Him without the eastern sky split wide open, and hurried to work, instead of paying attention to a man disturbing my heavy scheduled day.

I suspect more than a few of us can relate to this............and thus Scripture says........

Psalm 46:10) Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

First of all there would be nothing more important tome than saying thank you for what you have done for us. After that I'd walk with Him talk with Him and learn why I went through some of the things I have in life and why some things happened the way they did etc. In truth however, I'm not quite sure what my initial reaction would be prior to that because well...I don't know lol. I'd be awestruck for one that I'm sure of....and add to that Id be bowing to Him because HE is Lord :D. The rest I can safely say I'm not sure of for sure however.

I probably wouldn't really pay much attention.

A physical manifestation of Christ? Why would I need that when according to 1 John 4:17... that's me.

I have Jesus with me wherever I go. I'd just find him walking down the street odd, if anything, I'd ask him what he's doing here and move on if it was without purpose— obviously that would never happen.
