No this has nothing to do with women being beneath anyone, it has to do with the fact that the Bible says God created two people in his image, a man and a woman.

Adam had the Breath of Life, and so did Eve; both were created equally, and God declares that both were made in the image of God.

It's not so much a triumph for women, as it is logically putting two and two together.

Adam and Eve were made the same; people admit men and women are physically equal - so why is there suddenly this discretion of the image that God was made in, as if it is impossible for there to be both a Father God and Mother God.

It just doesn't make since in respects to how God keeps saying ' us, our, we' in plural text throughout the Bible; Genesis is the first main one, but in the book of Isaiah, in Revelations, Deuteronomy, there are these instances of " us and our," before Jesus Christ even came into the picture.

And if Eve did indeed come from Adam, the Bible says that her and him were ONE flesh, meaning the SAME entity of being.

If Adam is the male image / likeness of God, and Eve is the SAME entity of Adam, then logically this means that both male and female originally came from the image of likeness of God, hence why God is stating to the other God to make man in both their ( let us,) ( our) image.

It's pretty straight forward.

The trinity is representative of only ONE God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit function more like titles than three separate Gods which would be tritheism.

Besides, only Jesus was made in the image of Jesus lol, and the Holy Spirit has never been formally declared in the Bible to have an image; some believe it to be just a mist or spirit of God.

The trinity makes no sense for this.
It could be that God is just beyong our logic. An innocent man dying for the sins of a world that rejected him in the first place is also illogical. God is not going to allow himself be put into our comfy little boxes.

It could be that all of our reasoning and wondering from a fleshly point of view is making God into something that God isn't.

I like the way the ancient people thought, that it was only important to learn the facts and make their life fit into what those facts were. They didn't think about logic, or reasoning things through. It didn't make for their ability to invent new things like our way of thinking does, but in some ways it led to knowing truth.

When we apply our way of thinking to God, we sometimes create a God who is more like the idols, one that is man made.

Well that is your own opinion of what I said. Faith or not, no one knows what God looks like. I agree with the aspects of the male and the female characteristics that may have stemmed from God, used to create humans, along with non physical attributes that He used to create us.

Jesus was ALWAYS in the picture. He is co-equal with God, the Father, and God, the Spirit, and had an active role in creation.

Does God have feminine characteristics as well as masculine? I believe so, and when He put those characteristics in woman when He created her, He created her in His image just as He had also created man in His image.

Most Christians seem to agree that the plural language used by God at the creation is a reference to the Trinity. He has chosen to reveal Himself to us in the masculine in at least two of the three Persons: God the Father, and God the S

God is Spirit. Humans, both male and female reflect aspects of his nature. As such God has both male and female characteristics but the Bible does describe him as Father, Son, Spirit.

Adam had the Breath of Life, and so did Eve; both were created equally, and God declares that both were made in the image of God.
"...in the image of God created he him...". It then proceeds to say he created them, but omits the usage of "in his image".

Adam and Eve were made the same; people admit men and women are physically equal...
I really don't mean to sound sexist, but they are not physically equal. Common biological and human anatomical knowledge would attest. They are equal in a very different context, I believe.

And if Eve did indeed come from Adam, the Bible says that her and him were ONE flesh, meaning the SAME entity of being.
If I marry someone and we become one flesh, does that mean I lose my identity? Is my being or the entity of Siberian Khatru now one and the same as my wife, and vice versa? How does that mean that? I'm being sincere and not cynical, btw. :)

The trinity is representative of only ONE God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit function more like titles...
Is that like being Assistant to the Regional Manager, instead of Assistant Regional Manager?

Actually in the OT you see 'lord' and 'Lord'. Lord refers to God, lord refers to Jesus. Didn't Jesus pray? To who? Goddess? Nope. Father God. Do you ever see Jesus praying to Mother Goddess? Do you ever see any mention of God in the feminine? There is no mention in the bible of a female god. This is not a Christian teaching. Your attempts at scripture sounds more like trying to turn scripture to fit your view, than scripture supporting your view. Again, no point in the bible is there any direct reference to Mother God. Why do you think that is?
Well said Ugly. I must agree with you. The only goddesses mentioned in the bible served satan.

You simply can't cut and paste scriptures together and ignore their greater context. That is like driving a square peg into a round hole. It may fit into the hole, but it is a very, very poor fit!

"I truly believe that there are actually two God heads; a male and a female." lost words
It seems obvious to me that you had this belief and are now trying to prove it by doing a hack job on what the bible really does teach. God has no goddess but HE does have a bride. His bride is the church.
