And I am only eight.
In that case, I am seven :D But if I were inclined to lie about my age, I would wanna tell people I am seventy. Hey remember that guy who called me a liar because I said I was in my seventh decade? Anyways, telling people I am seventy, yeah, they would be all wowzers, you look absolutely fabulous for your age. Haha!

I think the problem is the ideal of eternal "beauty" (being thin, fit and young).

My body feels 70 and by mind is probably (like a friend of mine said about both of us) about 9 :p

A lot depends on whether you are Physically and Mentally fit enough to enjoy life. I have a neighbour who is 94 and she
still doing things that someone fifty years younger might try. In particular she experienced a sky dive a few years ago.
I would say age is not just a number but more of a right attitude to life as well.

Physically and mentally it is for raw foodists and some vegans.
Spiritually and emotionally it is for those who put their trust in Christ.

I forget my true age because I'm active and always on the go, however when people start asking about my children's age is when I realize how old I truly am.

Age is not just a number that's for sure, I met this old man who is about 87 years old at walmart once and you could tell he had been through a whole lot from his skin there were an unbelievable amount of large scars old burns damages skin ect. and yet this old man had more life in him more energy more light in him than I have ever seen in anyone.

I am 25 but mentally I am a child I have a child like nature a child like heart and I have been told I have a sense of innocence about me which must be true because i don't get or even recognize a lot of filthy sexual jokes that are always spoken about at my house however my body seems to think it's 85 my bones creak and pop when I move I am always in pain in my joints I have low energy am slow moving a lot of the times and I seem to get more and more problems with my body as time goes on.

However I have always liked old people I am not sure why maybe it's because I am attracted to their experience in life their wisdom and maturity and honestly I find I get along with them a lot better than I do younger people oh but don't make the mistake in thinking that because they are old they are wise I learned this the hard way lol

I really don't know what your mind is supposed to feel like as you age. I know I'm mature in my behavior and one thing that's nice is you start to care less about what others think. It's freeing in that sense. I have a 9 year old Daughter and a 10 year old Son, I have a lot of fun with them. The biggest bummer about aging is your body starts to she it's limits. For example I can't spin my Daughter around because I get very dizzy. I am going through some changes that come with age and that's not always easy either.

But you know I'm thankful for my health and the ability to function normally. I try not to think about the number, just the good fortune of being alive and healthy.

Regardless of our age in this world I think in God's eyes we always were and always will be small children to him we sure tend to act like it with him I mean we ask him why all the time like a child and he sets rules and standards and we rebel against them like children and we think no fair all the time like children and also like children when we are hurting or scared we run to him and like children since we adore him we are always mimicking him like how a child does for a father or father figure or a mother or mother figure who they adore and want to be just like them I mean regardless of age or nature we really do resemble small children with him in every sense of the word

It's tough to get old especially when you've had health problems all your life like I've had. But life goes on and so do I by enjoying my hobbies, especially eating good food. :)

Growing old isn't viewed as a positive thing for most people and I don't think it was ever meant to be. That's why God punishes us with it.
Growing old is not punishment from God!!

Our bodies may fail us as we get older but with age comes maturity and wisdoms and to me that's a gift.
