Supposedly, there's some reason for suffering or something good that can come out of it. I wonder about that, though.

A servant is not above his master...it is enough that he be as his master...

Jesus-->he learned to be obedient through the things which he suffered.

Sorry,
but it is a joke about a generation that has grown up only knowing

material prosperity and affluence.

I love what's his name, Watters, from Fox News who goes out and interviews
"millennials" about general knowledge questions on history or politics.
Absolutely hilarious results. They make blondes look smart!

But I am sure that you are a noteworthy exception.

And us oldies have to put up with grandpa jokes!!!

The thread title's question is every bit as intriguing as the OP.

Suffering is an ineradicable feature of the human condition. It's likely to cripple and kill someone as it is to build their character.

It may be necessary. It may not be. But it's with us while the Lord tarries. May as well face it with courage and conviction.

What would people who never suffered be like?

You have to go way back to Adam and Eve to understand why mankind suffer. This was never God's will in the first place. ,but man's will that brought on suffering.

I don't really know much about this, but what I do know is that they have never watched or done a playthrough of Act 2 in Doki Doki Literature Club. That's true suffering for everyone on Youtube in 2018.

Holy angels can go through a lot of suffering when they are sent by God to minister to us! Dan 10 (all), Heb 1v14
