Hello!

I like to download music but pay for it because I don't like stealing.

I've recently downloaded iTunes but the range and variety of music available is painfully and disgustingly narrow.

Does anyone know of any other legal music downloading websites/programs that have a better range?

Cheers

Rhapsody looks good, but you have to be american to use it.

Sam I think you might have been thinking of 99 million songs? It says they're free...I want to pay for the songs

No, its NOT expensive
Yes, you can get a whole album for under $2...most are 9c per song
No, I have not downloaded any YET BUT...
YES, it is most definately credible because one of my friends is a musical genius and downloads from that site at least once a week...

Hi Joy

I've heard about the russian sites. There's alot of them. I don't think the money you pay goes to the artist, and I don't think they legally have the right to sell them, but they're in russia, so no-one's going to stop them. I think they download the songs themselves or rip them from CDs and then sell them to people who insist on paying for their music. All of the sites claim to sell legal downloads but I don't think they are abiding by international laws. I researched this quite a few months ago so my information may not be accurate, but I'd be very wary of the russian sites.

Walmart has cheap downloads.

Yahoo music has a subscription service for unlimited downloads a year.
