It's Fun

OK, so what's fun to you. I've known people who I would say never had any fun in their whole life. But I bet that's not actually true. It's more that for them what's fun is a different sort of thing than it is for someone else. I hope I haven't spoiled the fun by asking. Oops, too late.

I love downhill skiing.

We will have to find something less dangerous for you to do.

Sky diving? I haven't done that on a lot of years, but it was fun.

Maybe jigsaw puzzles.

-- Solving the world's problems with hubby and/or a group of friends.
-- Arguing.
-- Going to a craft store without worrying about how much money I can spend.
-- Going to a craft store while worrying about how much I can spend.
-- Coming on CC.
-- Drawing.
-- Writing.
-- Picking flowers for a bouquet and then making the bouquet right.
-- Eating anything to do with raspberries and/or chocolate.
-- Going on a picnic
-- Making a snowman
-- Making an igloo.
-- Taking pictures of plants and/or stuffed animals.
-- Playing in the garden.
-- Finding whole leaves (no insects bit them) in fall colors.
-- Checking out fall colors.
-- Making stained glass.
-- Learning something new.
-- NOT cooking or doing chores.
-- Smelling lilac, passionflowers, butterfly bush flowers, moonflowers, lavender, sage, basil, and oregano.
--Watching bee wars over the lavender flowers or Russian Sage.
-- Watching a cat that doesn't know I'm watching it. (If they know, they just stare back.)
-- Watching/feeding sparrows.
-- Watching hawks fly off a newby hospital.
-- Seeing ships/faces/animals/and waves in the clouds.
-- Reading MG and YA books or watching MG or YA movies, (but NOT romance.)
-- A let's-go-fishing-in-Tichborne-Ontario sky.
-- Fishing in Tichborne, Ontario.
-- Fishing anywhere that fish actually go for the bait.
-- The Mummers parade. (Particularly the Frog Brigade.)
-- Popcycles on a really hot day.
-- Cuddling.
-- "Winning" in traffic/driving righteousness.
-- Grocery shopping with hubby. (Not bringing it into the house though, or putting it away.
-- Chocolate-covered banana/strawberry/fruit.
-- Inventing a new dessert.

You sound way fun, yeah : p

I think its fun to ummmm....

-Play music, and write music
(I play bass guitar and guitar, I write stuff myself and I have a friend whos a guitarist that I play with)
-Listen to music
(I carry an old mp3 player and purple headphones in my backpack everywhere I go : p)
-Talk about musicians I like with other music fans
-Talk about God and the bible with other followers of Christ, and encourage each other
-Explore country roads in a car
-Walking through trails and woods ect
-Going on picnics
-Trying new and unique foods
(Like when they came out with that oreo pizza a few years ago, I totally tried it as soon as I could : p)
-Talking to people online
-Watching certain tv shows
(I like real life kinda stuff, families that interact together like real families, couples and people who deal with having a crush on someone else and all that junk)
-I like videogames but am trying to get away from them, and I dont really play them much anymore
-Learning the history behind random things
(like about the video game industry, certain musicians and other things)
-Occasionally watching old pro wrestling from the 80s and 90s
(youll never see me watch the stuff they have now)
-Watching people play music
-Playing with my cats and guinea pig
-Seeing and meeting animals
-Animal watching
-Looking at art work of fictional characters I like
-Taking about favorite fictional characters with others

-Going to parks with friends
-I actually kinda enjoy debating sometimes
(though it seems most of the world considers this hate)
-Cuddling and holding hands is fun
-I love boardgames, especially ones like Risk. Id like to even get into D&D kinda board games if I knew people who liked that too : p
-Bowling
(Im terrible at it but I like doing it : p)
-Riding bikes
-Going to guitar stores and trying out different instruments
(gotta have a confident friend to go with though : p)
-Im terribly shy but still social, so I do enjoy meeting new friendly people
-Exploring old and abandoned buildings and locations
-Learning about mysteries and junk
-I like doing creative things and making things out of other things
(for example, when I change out my bass strings, I take the old ones and make them into bracelets. I have many and have given them to friends. You cant really wear them but they look cool : p)
-I like picking out gifts for friends, I have an out of state friend, and we send each other gifts in the mail on occasion
-Eating
(I like food a bit more than I should : /)
-Almost any kind of team competition with friends
(not really sports, I just enjoy friendly rivalries, so anything where you can team up together against others is fun : p)
-Playing music in front of others
(like concerts and open mics and playing for parties and junk)
-Decorating
(like for holidays, a big part of Christmas for me is decorating the home. Also I really like lights for some reason)

There's no use fighting it, Willie. We belong in retirement homes.

Fun is doing anything I don't HAVE to do or SHOULD do. Sometimes it is just doing nothing.
