I'm greatful - lowanla (me) (this isn't really a poem...just lovely thoughts)

i've been waiting all this time for you
my whole life actually
I have been confounded I have been humbled
my pride and religious notions
and my ideals that love did not exist

luckily God had a plan he sent you my way
you made me see and I finally believe
you made me believe again
in this you were doing a good thing

In that way you are far better than me,
I'm so happy to realize you were even
a better Christian than I at times, I hope you
know that.
I love you, I promise to be for you
only, as we stand under Gods word and
protection in his light and hope.

to be humble to put you before me.
to be there when you need me, for whatever
you may need.
and to strive to be the virtuous woman,
of Proverbs 31:10-31

that is what I have been saving myself for
fo someone like you, for only you.

we can live in a good way I know it
because of grace and love

I am greatful always greatful for you.

'Cause he promised not to leave us
And his promises are true
So in the face of all this chaos, baby,

Matthew 9:1 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.
2 Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith,

Sozo - Save
"Saving/restoring/healing the Soul"

Lets start by discussing this scripture, I hope that you recieve this
and understand that I am not doing this to condemn you or hurt you,
but only to help you understand how to help yourself...I alone have no
power to help you, only to guide you to the one who can truly help
you, the one who will and who wants to help you, and that is Jesus Christ.

Amplified Bible (AMP)

James1:21 "So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness,

(A. Okay how does one do that? Since it is hard to resist temptation, at times, or even know how to walk in the right way, how is one suppose to save their soul? Well the next phrase has the answer for you...)

and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which
implanted and rooted [in your hearts]
(B - This scripture is basically saying, that all it takes is
just being humble and listening, memorizing, recieving it
into your mind and in your heart)

" contains the power to save your souls."

So I hope that you will take this advice to help yourself to restore your own soul
the way God intended it to be, healed, restored, and set free, in Gods
good will and plan.

*On a side note...I love you, but I don't want you to think
that I am your savior, I am not, I know you hang onto me because of the
Holy Spirit, but I do not own the Holy Spirit, he just lives inside my heart.

He is there for you too, God wants you to know him, personally, God loves you.

Just random words - me (Lowanla)

I have never forced myself on you,
you came to me all on your own
you came with strings but also with good intentions

I understand...and in your case its okay
its okay to be selfish for your soul

We need to be selfish with our souls
and seek God with them,
to help save us.

You needed help, You needed God

I understand that,
I have given you your answer and
that is Jesus Christ.

now I want you to understand that you
are free, you are not bound to me
nor do you have to be bound to anyone
except who you marry, someone
hopefully who will not force you
into it, but something you will go
willingly into, with alot of happiness.

Someone whom you will spend many years
and years with. (which is what I want for you
I want a life for you)

I will never force you to stick with me
its okay, if you wanna let go of me
I will not be angry at you.
(and no I am not just pushing you away
this time...)
I'm saying...
I love you anyway, unconditionally
regardless if you love me or not.

I think..
That is why I've always pushed you away
because I knew the truth about you...
the truth was...

it wasn't me you wanted,
it was Jesus who lived inside of me.

It really is Jesus whom you should seek.
because now you know he can and is saving you right now.

....then again maybe you do love me,
but I wish you would love God first
so you could know a greater love than mine..
Nothing would make me happier.

that way you would never have to feel alone again,
and I would not let you down...I don't want to ever let you down
but I may...and that scares me.

I don't want to hurt you...I don't want to see you hurt...
...because of me..

I love you..I mean I really do and I will always fight for you,
in the intereceeding way. ; )

If you still feel love for me then I will always be here
waiting for you,
who knows God may bring us together..
and if we do meet, I hope that at least we can honor God in
it, because, then he'll make everything beautiful,
he always does...I know.

I hope that last one didn't sound harsh...although it probably did, if so I am sorry. I was just feeling guilty about
making you think you 'had' to be with me, I wasn't sure if thats what you really wanted, ..you kinda made me believe
that you do though. I'm not sure how I could be sure..or how I could know.
anyway...If i made you feel bad I am sorry...not my intentions, just me thinking, I'm sure you know well enough..
here is another poem, hopefully this will sound more confident..

The Dream - By Lowanla (me)

the tree's sweep past the reflection glass the light is dim
my heart racing I am finally gonna see him.
Just got out of the car, stepping onto the sidewalk
its 6:30 am in the morning, so tired can barely talk.

The pinks blues oranges and a kiss of sun light
bring the sky into view.
I look around and then look forward and see..you.

Face to face is this a dream?
for so long thats how painfully it seemed.

Your smile lights up and you seem a little different
but still the same altogether, just happy.

I run to you then stop in my polite usual ways
reaching out to shake your hand but wanting to touch your face.

You seem the same way politely afraid
you reach your hand out in the same way
our hands miss and we fall forward toward each other.

Finally, with a sigh of relief, there are no words

...I know how Jacob felt waiting seven years
for someone they loved.

it was as if only a few days had passed instead
of years...

as I wrap my arms around drenching you in tears.

I am so happy...this is all I have ever wanted.
I am so happy, and I am greatful for you.

this time its not a dream,
this time...it is real...this time
I am with you.

I recently heard the song "By your side" by Tenth Avenue and i liked very much the lyrics :

Ah I remember listening to that song yeah it is a good song It reminds me that I am loved by God.
Especially when I feel alone. Its encouraging.

Beloved for as long as I live
you are always going to have - Hope.
For as long as I exist
For as long as I breath
For as long as my heart beats

Restoration, freedom, salvation, and
eternal life are yours I will make sure
of that personally.

I have seeing how you walked away from addictions
you yourself resisted temptation
you confessed Jesus Christ to the world
You are a mighty man of valor And very courageous.

Be encouraged for now it is time to walk in freedom

Receive Gods mercy and his graced

How I know God is willing to help you - by Lowanla (me)

When I first started praying for you in December 2010
I heard "let him go..."

It was hard to because you held onto me
I wasn't sure I knew how to let you go
but I wanted to be obedient
I was allowed to pray for you

As I sobbed on my couch praying for you
I heard "he will live and not die.."
Psalm 118:17

This was a big deal for me
I was so happy and excited for you.
because when God says something
he will do exactly what he has set out
to do

So I gave up everything
I did this....
Just so I knew I wasn't in
God's way as he worked in
your life

I tried to let go you still held
on..I wish I could have told
You then why I walked away..
Well in February of 2011

You still held onto me..
So I began to complain to
God that it was hard to stand in
Faith
I figured you would eventually lose interest
in me sooner or later I had a hard time believing
That you loved me..back then.

Then I had a dream...
In that dream God basically said
"Shut up and have faith."

so I stopped complaining and kept praying for
you.

So with that I hope you are encouraged by
this,
again I am sorry for hurting you
I appreciated everything you've done..
I hope oneday you can forgive me.

I love you
and I believe in you
Never forget That God is with you.

This is very good poem, i liked a lot the part of "We will be a bible love story"

Thanks I like the idea because God never fails and he is for love what is even more
Awesome at least what I thought was even better is that God is love.

Isaiah 58:4-14

"Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife, and striking each other with wicked fists.
You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high.
Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for a man to humble himself?

Is it only for bowing ones head like a reed and for lying on sackcloth and ashes?
Is that what you call a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD?

Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:

to loose the chains of injustice and to untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

Is it not to share your food with the hungry
