Lovesong Poetry

A prophecy about the coming of Jesus in the old testament going to the cross, ​

and what he fullfilled for us when he died and rose again. ​

Isaiah 53:3 (Amplified Version)​

3 He was despised and rejected
and forsaken by men,
a Man of sorrows and pains,
and acquainted with grief and sickness;
and like One from Whom men hide their faces
He was despised,
and we did not appreciate His worth or have
any esteem for Him.​

4 Surely He has borne our griefs
(sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses)
and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment],
yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten,
and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].​

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, ​

He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities;
the chastisement
[needful to obtain]
peace and well-being
for us was upon Him,
and with the stripes
[that wounded] Him we are
healed and made whole.​

1 peter 2:21-25 (Amplified Version)​

21 For even to this were you called [it is inseparable from your vocation].
For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you [His personal] example,
so that you should follow in His footsteps.​

22 He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit
(guile) ever found on His lips.
23 When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return;
[when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance];
but he trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly.​

24 He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [g]
[as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness.​

By His wounds you have been healed.​

25 For you were going astray like [so many] sheep, ​

but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian
([h]the Bishop) of your souls.​

I dedicate this song to my guy, this reminds me of him teehee
I want to encourage him to be encouraged and to say Jesus is with you and he will be with you even unto the end of the world.

This is the kind of intimate relationship God wants with each and everyone of us. I love this song I can feel the peaceful presence of God in it. Its undeniable love that cannot be resisted, because it gives you rest and peace and love.​

the torments of a perfectionist

Perfection romances obsession

From every neuron sparked thought

where exactly did this idea come from

from what sewer has this insanity rot?

it is like a weed, perfection is a very shrill seed

Perfection is religion but who is good enough to be?

For every movement there is a flaw

In this so called, 'perfect world' that is not really perfect at all

it is the worlds illusion - nay! human fantastical delusion

where my very self esteem becomes darkly polluted

It becomes low and sings a bluesy poor spirited song

it tells me I am an outcast and that I do not belong

For where do I look where can I find grace?

Thankfully Jesus redefined perfection historically, when he took my place

For he is perfect - I am not

in that I am comforted a lot

He teaches me to be better not to be perfect

He is with me and advocates for me against tormentors plot

and in that I am also comforted a whole lot

the answer is simple it goes like this:

we strive to move forward in the promise

that when He returns we will be transformed

and made perfect by and through his love.

for Love is the goal to rise above.
