Its just one of those quirks about me, that I am currently working out
as I improve myself daily.

friends are hard to come by so...

I've quite a ways to go..A long ways. O_O

I know this might sound wierd but If you hadn't noticed I have low self esteem issues,
I decided to look for help on that,
from what I learned it takes 30 to 40 days to reprogram your mind to unlearn
all the negative thoughts you thought about yourself as a kid,
bad self thoughts are bad habits that need to be broken,
so I spend a few minutes of my day saying this phrase,

“I am responsible for my life and right now, I choose to love and accept myself.”

I think its helping, I feel stronger, but this is only my 5th day of saying it

This is my morning pick me up song after I say the positive thing over myself daily, its best
to also remember to love yourself and build yourself up...because maybe you are the only one who cares,
everyone deserves to be loved, and to love themselves and have good self esteem.

I changed it from 'toy' to 'world' and 'boy' to 'girl' in my case, just for a girl version feel hehe.. :D​

Does it actually work this way? I thought the time frame was subjective to the individual.

It is subjective however no one is born with specific knowledge (unless it is taught)
they rely on their basic instincts to survive.

From what I learned, there was this psychology study on babies:
One was deprived of love and another one was raised in a loving enviroment, the one without love developed slower than the one who was loved. The minds of each individual baby learned to develop its body with what it had to survive. (Don't ask me who, what or why, because I don't know, its only a study that is a relevant example to this).

Now I am comparing this to the learned bad habits people develop such as:
cursing, spitting, and thoughts of self hatred.

I don't care what anyone says...nobody is born that way.

Those things were taught to the individual as a youth, by their enviroment. There was a time when they were young that they knew that was wrong, but because of their surrounding, social convention, or wanting to develop character as they grew older, they chose,
to develop their character that way, as a way of 'belonging'.

The thoughts of self hatred come from an obsessive comparison of an individual to another individual.
If you hear something or someone tell you something long enough eventually your going to believe it.

Spoken words are very powerful, so powerful they alter the very state of that individuals reality.
If you said words of death over yourself long enough then it would drag you toward that state of negativity.

If you said positive words of life over yourself, you would indeed change and alter the negative state you are in. It may not happen that day, week or month, but a spoken word into the air fabricates a new reality.

Tidbit - Did you know that the computer's and internet's original design is to work like the human brain, that is why people are so obsessed with it.

So to sum it up... a person who choses to put themselves in a positive enviroment, and speak positive
things over themselves tend to be more healthier and happier.

So that is why I am saying these things over myself (my 6 day), I've learned this over the years, and it has made me a stronger person for it.

Everyone deserves to live.

I need to update and change this thought to the fact that they also have to learn,
right from wrong. Right, wrong and morality are things that must also be learned.

Hey! :D I thought you would come back. If it was going to be permanent, I figured you would have said goodbye.

Siberian and I totally crashed the thread while you were gone, with a little help from Spongebob. And settle this, please: If somebody has an unending supply of (perfectly good) apostrophes, and they don't use one of them where it's required, is that not a misuse? I feel, deep inside my heart, that it is. But I could be wrong.

Just messin' with ya, good to have you back! :D

I like spongebobs look, but I'd rather him remain the happy fellow he makes my day.

lol unfortunately I'm no good with memory when it comes to grammar, and this place only gives you a 5 minute window to fix any errors, after the 5 minutes your poem is doomed in permanence.
I noticed many errors on my poems, and they bugs me to no end. lol. XD
