I got curious about this thread. People at my Aunt and Uncle's house were talking about basketball and I didn't understand anything they were saying. I was hoping maybe this thread would be different. Nope. I know basketball is a thing, but I got no idea what you all are saying. Are you speaking English? LOL

Yea I agree basketball is boring, nothing interesting about 6 and 7 ft behemoths putting a dang ball through a hoop and celebrating afterward like they won the lottery....imo it's a stupid game...I'd rather watch short people/midgets play basketball than watch these guys, .a real game is like rugby or american football where guys take punishment but actually earn their money rather than get thrown cash like basketball stars....

I don't understand sports at all. I don't get why people like them. That's totally my problem, but I just don't get it why it's exciting. When I was at my family's house today and everyone was talking about basketball, I felt stupid because I didn't know what they were saying. All I could do is just chew my ham and smile.
