Movies and TV shows to avoid

Long time ago but if I remember right there is a guy who pretends to be very religious, but then very quickly ends up in bed with the main protagonist.

It isn't. I'm used to work as a projectionist in a movie theater and I'm very sure that there are movies that are somehow “influenced" by evil.

Besides of that, how can we have fun watching something that the Lord abhors?

I can't remember of the exact phrase right now, but I meant there is a Bible verse that says that we should not hold anything reprehensible before our eyes.

Reality is subjective I guess. I like Harry Potter. I heard some TV pastor saying Harry and his friends were useing real evil spells. Wonder how he knows that?

i don't know about evil spells.

but, the Word is very clear about witchcraft. and though harry potter is about wizards, it is still witchcraft,

black magic or white magic, it is still bad.

TV is so last century. Everything is on your phone now. Who bothers with a big honking box anymore?

I mean... if you're having a movie party or something they might be useful... But aside from that, who cares about TVs these days?

Now if you want to throw your phone out, that's another matter. You just do that.

I have a huge dvd/bluray collection my wife and I built for many years. I also like video games. Two TV's. Living room and beadroom. I stream also. Never understood how someone can watch a movie on a cell phone.

I remember the youngest boy quit going to church because the preacher told him to burn his comic books. A van came a picked up kids for church. The wife and I didnt go but thought it was good for them to go. Moral of the story, seeing evil in everything is why some dont seek the Lord. It was a preacher on SBN that was going on about Harry Potter using "real magic spells" in the movies.

Well gee wizz... The preacher on TV said Harry Potter was using real magic spells, but TV is evil.

You are correct, throw the phone out as well. In fact, toss the phone first. The cell phone is the portal to the beast system. The black mirror of spiritual death. It meets all the qualifications for the motb, though I make no such claims.

I've made two comments on this christian site. I'm already being harassed, and for nothing more than what should be obvious to any spirit led believer. No one said anything about the scriptures I quoted. Just, watch out for Tom, he wants to take all the fun out of life. If it brings you closer to Christ, yes.
