You can believe what ever you want. The Lord really manifested himself in my life, Magentas, @Deade 's, My first sponsor's and many others I have known in my life since it happened. You'll have plenty of company with atheists, wherever you wind up and we won't remember you in paradise or in the new kingdom. Betting against the Lord, is a sucker bet. You would probably consider internal evidence as circular logic, so "neutral" or zero on the score board
For external evidence, there are many non-Bible people with positive evidence for it, and no evidence against the biblical event
You may hope that there is one, but there isn't, because archaeologist haven't found such evidence, it is 99.999% more likely for archaeologist to find positive supporting evidence than negative
And people here can testify to the fact that I rarely claim such certainty
Riven, statistics and probability is against you for this, I know where I'm betting, do you?

What kind of dumb bell would believe, so many witness would allow themselves be beaten, stoned, crucified, left to starve to death and or fed to lions to perpetrate a fraud or hoax, with out a profit motive? Come on, surrender, your losing and you know it. Do disbelieve out of logic or hatred against some greater than men's tiny minds?

If riven likes to use the word "sadistic", we'll give him something to think about
For hell, even the most sadistic punishing description a depraved psychopathic wordsmith can possibly come up with, will fail to describe a small drop off how bad it really is
To put it another way, hell is so bad you would pray to Jesus to get you out of there, and heaven is so wonderful, you would pray to Jesus to get you there

God invites us to reason with Him. However, since Riven has brought his objections to us, we answer him while we can. We are simply doing what Scriptures tell us to do, for "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" One day, some glorious day, he may approach God with the humility required, and be willing to listen and obey instead of argue and rebel.

I remember you have given me this on a sacred shrine, a temple with my most sacred treasure
