I would rather go shooting with McCain
than driving with Kennedy
mccain will never get a vote from me the way he has treated my father and i....hillary the same way....many politicians forget how they got where they are...barack never did in our experiences in DC...he always had personal face time and had truly researched things to have good questions prepared...

incorrect sir....bush added more debt to the national debt than any president in US history....if obama went at his current pace for 8 full years, he will only barely surpass bush....please have your facts straight, not just skewed numbers recited from bill o'reilly and rush limbaugh
Agreed!!....…

If that is why that was your opinion... then that doesnt make sense,,,

I love you too!

you guys arel being jerks about Bush.

I remember watching that. I was so happy. We all knew our fathers were coming home:)

1. you are confusing
2. I wasn't trying to be rude just saying something about your president is like a slap to God's face being that he put Obama in office for a reason. What I'm saying is truth on both sides you noticed I didn't have all good things or all bad things for both just facts.

I've grown so neutral now. I thought he was bringing the troops home.
OH yes here's a good idea. One president puts us in a war to help out another nation and people are dying each day and we are going to just pull out all our troops. AWESOME IDEA! No, that's a horrible idea. Do you understand how horrible it would be if we pulled out our troops?

I have been doing a lot of research and I think that the war was planned by the government years ago and I don't think it matters if Macaine or Obama got in for president because they are nothing more than popets on a string controled by the illuminati who have been trying to bring a One World Government for over 200 years and they are finaly about to be successful. I believe the troops will be in Iraq till armagenton. But that is just an apinion based on the research I did.

At least I know what I am saying

Then wouldn't you too be "slapping God's own face" by saying something about Bush since He also put him there for a reason?

As an unbiased person I don't feel obligated to side with the American government and say that 9/11 was a terrorist attack.
Who is worse off, the only who believes everything that is said to them or the one who is daring enough to challenge it? Too many questions, no sorry, FAR too many questions are left unanswered with regards to what happened that sad sad day. Far too many lies have been caught out, and facts being left out. If the OFFICIAL 9/11 report doesn't even talk about the 3rd building collapsing, you have to ask yourself, how 'official' can it be, and if the buildings fell at nearly free-fall speed, then the official 'pancake' explanation given can't be because friction being caused by one level hitting the other would cause it to be a much slower descent. You can argue with motives, but you can't argue with physics.
I know that if you haven't begun to question it until now, there's nothing I can say to change that. But don't accuse someone of being dumb because it's challenges the very country you love, because it makes you seem arrogant and you could be far from it.

Wow we Americans know it was a terrorist attack. I for one lost family members in that attack. That all I'm going to say because you'll think what you want

With all due respect to you, Forginandloved was merely saying that if "we" pulled out all of the troops in Iraq en masse, the country would self implode into civil war with masses of killings between Shiite and Sunni's and the very real possibility of Iran invading.
What would that do to stability in the Middle East do you think? How would that affect the US oil supply?
"We" started this mess in the first place, and now it is up to us to see it through to the end!
The ultimate aim being the welfare of the Iraqi people first and foremost, and the establishment of a decent Iraqi government and Defense Force.

Remember that all of this could have been avoided via the proper manipulation by the CIA, MI6 etc that would have fascilitated an overthrow of Saddam, and a replacement by someone who was more palatable to Western tastes.
This has happened many, many times in the past 5 decades. And even though that insidious infiltration of a sovereign countries politics is distasteful it, at least, involves minmal casualties and doesn't destroy the fabric and infrastructure of the country involved.

Instead of getting up in arms with a posters point of view, you may well do well to arm yourself with some facts and debate them instead of throwing a meaningless tantrum.

God Bless.

Personally affected by Obama. I am on disability and my check is less this year than last year. Last year the government assisted me in paying for Medicare and covered my prescriptions. This year I pay for Medicare with no government help, and my prescriptions with no government help. Thank goodness the cost of rent hasn't gone up yet, but have you checked out the groceries. Oh Yeah! Tried to get a job part-time and there wasn't much to choose from and they weren't choosing me. Unemployment is at it's highest. Why did Obama have to give billions of dollars to GMC and the banks? The problem would have easily been resolved if he would have just given every American a million dollars. Perhaps then, the older than 55 bunch could retire and open up 4 million more jobs for the younger people. Buy a new car with the million....that would have helped GMC and their bad business. Why reward bad business? That makes no sense. And the Banks too. They are all greedy and only looking to keep their 6 and 7 figure incomes. And why did congress vote themselves a raise when they are cutting social security checks? This country is in a deep recession. So far all I hear is talk about how bad it is. What is the plan? One friend government is needed badly. Police, firemen, road maintenance, etc. He forgot to mention schools and school teachers. Yea, more government, give more jobs to the nonworking and put them in government jobs...that would help some who are really hurting and can't pay their mortgages, rent, electric bills, and groceries. Even the charities are hurting and can't help as much as they once did. Particularly those who depended on government grants to help the needy. I have lots of other reasons to dislike Obama, but right now I am more concerned about what the lying ungodly man is going to keep a promise on. I have a friend who is striving to keep his business of 37 years from drowning from the recession. His main bread and butter was selling to schools, and schools just have more cut budgets and have to do without non-necessities. Let me hear from you guys who are feeling the recession and what is your idea of getting this country back out of recession.

i work with folks on disability every day...and the freeze that we're seeing in SSI and SSDI was put into place under bush....social security was basically destroyed in bush's first term in office as he was trying to make it obvious that it needed to be privatized....and our country's enormous debt problem is the main reason many over 55 cannot retire....my grandparents' retirement community has seen home after home foreclosed because so many there were over their head in debt on a retirement home....we need to fix that first before ripping on lack of ability for many to retire being caused by anyone but ourselves...

WomanLovesTX...Obama inherited this problem, he didn't cause it. Never has a President walked into such a firestorm since the end of WW2.

If he didn't prop up the banks and the automotive industry you may well have ended up in a 1930's style depression instead of your current recession.

The signs for the US economy are looking far more positive of late. Hang in there, things will get better, and God Bless.
