Oh my Lord, it has been too long..
How sweet You are to be right here waiting. It's been awhile since I took some time, to make some time, to hone in on You, on us.
Your countenance is so consistent. You are Love, so I know You are alway present and faithful, even when I am not.
I wish to know how You are? I want to pray for so many things, for my sick loves, my grieving loves, for their healing, so forth and so on… but You know what has been really on my mind.
You....
I know You need nothing and that it is silly to be concerned about Your well-being. I just wanna ask…
Are You feeling blessed today? Are many of Yours bringing You joy? Do You ever get really sad? Can I do something for You for a change?
Oh this is nonsense. I know that You are a Deity, always complete in every way. I just sometimes ponder…
We are always calling on You to clothe, to feed, to shelter, to protect, to save, to help, to forgive,to strengthen, to so many, many things, but I want to give to You. You are always the giver in this relationship between your creation and You.
I suppose that is why You designed us to have a natural inclination to help others, and in that way we give back to You. We can give our offering, our thanksgiving, and share You, and worship You.
Ultimately, though, it seems You derive satisfaction the most merely from us loving one another, sincerely and selflessly. You even said, whatever we do to them, we do to You.
It still just seems so minuscule compared to all You do for us, day in and day out.
Thank You Lord!!! I'll try harder to love others more in thought and in action, to show up (not always easy for me, sometimes reallyhard). I will my Lord for them, but also in hopes that it blesses You.
