Christian Chat is a moderated online Christian community allowing Christians around the world to fellowship with each other in real time chat via webcam, voice, and text, with the Christian Chat app. You can also start or participate in a Bible-based discussion here in the Christian Chat Forums, where members can also share with each other their own videos, pictures, or favorite Christian music.
If you are a Christian and need encouragement and fellowship, we're here for you! If you are not a Christian but interested in knowing more about Jesus our Lord, you're also welcome! Want to know what the Bible says, and how you can apply it to your life? Join us!
When you are making a post, there are icons above the text box.
The third one from the right is the "Insert Image" icon.
It allows you to select an image file from your computer,
or to copy an image url from the web and post it here.
For those unable to post directly from your computer, you can select an image from your computer and upload it to an image hosting site, and then get the direct link for that image, and use the url to post it to the boards here, using the "Insert Image" icon above the text box (third from the right; make sure to uncheck the Retrieve remote file and reference locally, from the "From URL" tab of the app that opens to insert images) https://postimages.org/
^^ There is a link to a free image hosting site. If you keep the image url as a document file somewhere on your computer, you can use it again and again Or, if you know where to find it on one of CC forum pages once you have posted it here at least once, you can always open it from that page and use the CC url to post your image again... maybe save it as a favorite (Bookmark) in your browser to find easily
It is always a good idea to preview your message to see how big the image is going to look. If you think it is too large or needs some adjustments, there are free online image editing programs that are fairly easy and fun to use If you make a boo boo it is very easy to fix. The free editors are a lot less complicated than photoshop, but still allow you to do an amazing array of edits. The one I use is https://pixlr.com/editor/
Then you just re-save the image back to your computer, and uplaod to the host site, get the direct link, and post it on the board as per above instructions. Give the edited image a new name so you do not overwrite the original image. I usually just add on to the end of the original image name; then all similar images show up alphabetically in whichever folder I have them in.
Or you can choose to resize it when you are uploading it to the image hosting site.
