The majority of the stuff I post on FB is all Bible verses, or Christian music, or basically anything to do with God and Jesus. I try to keep it positive, cause FB can be so full of negativity. A lot of the friends I have on there are not Christian; it can be a great witnessing tool :)
Yes that's how I use it too.

Fake Book is ridiculous, IMO. Also, please be careful who you ask to add you. There ARE alot of weirdos and perverts here who would love nothing better to stalk you on FB.. :/ Instead of asking christians to come play Family Farm with you, why not put together a discussion group or something and do something more productive than playing silly games? :)

Facebook is eee-vil. As if it were the fru-its of the de-vil. eee-vil.

Plus it's dumb. And lame. And dumb.

The pros would be that I'm able to catch up with friends on occasion that I never see, which is great and I love FB for that. I've also met some great friends that I've known for years now playing one of the games on FB. I can't really think of any cons. I don't add people that cause unnecessary drama, and even if someone did, posts on the internet aren't something I waste time being bothered by. As far as privacy, if I post something on the internet, I assume that it will be seen, so I really don't care. I don't share anything top secret. *shrugs*

From a christian perspective, some of my friends share verses, inspirational videos, and stuff like that.. so I definitely think FB can be a nice tool to share something positive with your friends. :)

I realize this question is, at best, is absurd. It is up to the individual. I mearly titled it this to get the opinion of others, maybe the positives and negatives for using it, as it concerns to Christians. [note this is not an attempt to connect with others on Facebook and please refrain from doing it in the post, if I may go as far to ask that]Without passing judgment, IYO, what are some of the pro's and con's for using Facebook? e.i. contact with friends and family, socialization, fill free time...As well as cons, time management, lack of privacy, etc. Thanks for your $0.02!
I use Facebook for contact with friends and family. Its OK if you use it wisely. Above all make sure your page and messages are switched to Private otherwise the whole world can read your messages and add anything to your page.
There are Christians already on Facebook and some groups Most people using it seem to find it useful.

I made my account on facebook mostly just to sign up for mmos so I wouldn't have to use my email address and to talk to members on this site. Other than that I almost never use it.

Most of my friends on facebook are Christians and only post positive things. The rest are family members that live in another country and FB allows me to share pictures of my life where I live now. Anything negative I can either block or ignore on my feed. It depends on how you use it.

My wife uses Facebook, but I don't. Christian Chat is my Facebook. Like anything else, Facebook can be used in a good way or a bad way.
