I'm going to reply to this and I'm going to try not to sound disrespectful. If I fail please forgive me, i honestly mean zero disrespect.
Have you ever, as an underaged person, attempted to get a condom or two while living/going to school in ultra conservative abstinence only preaching circles? especially while knowing full well that sex outside of marriage is wrong....its very easy to say "Nah, I'll abstain and never need one. its easy!". Also, condoms fail. ALL birth control does. But in the end I'm super intensly tired of good Christian people not looking at unplanned pregnancy and immediately dismissing the parents as half witted because they made mistakes.
I said it before, I'll say it again...until you've sat on the other side of an unplanned pregnancy you cant totally comprehend the emotional roller coaster it brings. The "friends" (who are intensly pro life...) who are gone, the churches who condemn, and the automatic assumption thst every teenage pregnancy mirrors an mtv show are overwhelming enough.
Christ offers grace. A redeption I've never known till very recently, a future, and hope. I just wish Christians would extend the same grace.
