I don't think I have ever shared this with anyone, but I know what it's like to have sexual urges towards the same gender. I had struggled with it in high school, and one day at church I was just so weary from the fight. While we were worshiping, I just sort of fell apart, and God took it. The thoughts were still there, but God took the biggest burden and fear off me. Be honest with Him how much you're struggling, He knows already. But I think He honors our humility
I don't know about the wanting to be the opposite gender, in that I don't have any personal experience, but can onlay say that God made you the gender you are for a reason. We can just trust Him that He made us who we are for a reason. Our flesh and the enemy will give us urges that aren't what God wants for us. His way and His plan is way better than what we want to settle for. I speak from experience on that front.
