1My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. 2Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. 3If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” 4have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?5Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?8If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,”[SUP]a[/SUP] you are doing right. 9But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. 10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11For he who said, “You shall not commit adultery,”[SUP]b[/SUP] also said, “You shall not murder.”[SUP]c[/SUP] If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.12Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, 13because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. James 2:1-13

I happen to know one lady who left this forum because of others condemnation that she had a few tattoos. She was kind, compassionate, and a Christian...
Elizabeth619: Yes, women now exercise tattoo equality. Many women do it, including Christian women. It's hard to deny the reality.

On the basis of what you said, I was just saying that it's perfectly normal and widespread these days.
I never said it wasn't. All I stated was a lady was treated bad bc of her tattoos. It would have made no difference if it was a man.

Well, exactly. (Though it seems like a certain type of very conservative man feels free to say that women should be inkless.) But it's so well established now that 59%-70% of parlor clients in North America are now women; a striking statistic.

That had absolutely nothing to do with what I've posted.

I really want to bring all the glory I can to God and I think having a scripture verse that means a lot to me, on my body would help me with that and remind me of my faith at all times. And if others ask about it then it might give me a chance to witness to them.
Mckerracher: Well, as a young woman you will know that a lot of Christian young people think exactly like you do, on this matter.

Blessings.
