You're certainly not boring. You're normal and that's a commendable quality in the Backsliders club.

It has a certain twang. Probably make a good theme song for this thread.

Not in to smoking or drinking, but hot cars, yes, yes, yes. Never to old for speed.
Much to my wife's scorn, I bought me a Dodge Challenger in Jan. Has the 6.2 L supercharged Hemi.
What a rush--------------

Don't tell anyone but I really crave fast motorcycles. Wife hates them which is probably why I love them. I guess I don't have enough sense to fear what could happen at high velocity on one of them.

Beer and smokes are just not healthy.

I like how you roll 'em. Hopefully, when you're cruising on your bike you are wearing an appropriate leather jacket. I certainly agree with you about the smokes not being healthy but I'm a drug addict after all and nicotine is my drug of choice. Not something that I'm proud of either but that's the way it is with me right now. I pray for deliverance but do absolutely nothing to break this addiction. Time to fire up another and drink another cuppa. Yeah, I feel pathetic at times.

what do you call that beer for short? That name is more than a mouthful....
The only place that serves it is a pub called Capital Ale. I ask for a Korbinian. They know what it is.

Is it something Korben Dallas would drink?

Pedal to the medal. I'm catching your drift. I can smell those gas fumes now coming from the hot exhaust. It's good to be alive.

This is a thread for all us no good, backsliding, Christmas and Easter Christians.
I'm starting this as thread to discuss good beer, cigars, R rated movies,
cars with bad fuel mileage, and anything else I'm sure the holy pious will shame us over.
This thread makes me want to take my 60s era V8 car (and I do have one)
to the drive-in and see a 70s era women's-prison movie marathon!
Of course we'd sneak a couple of people and a cooler full of Pabst in the trunk.

Spaten? Oh hell yes!
It really doesn't get much better than an ice cold Spaten on a hot summer day.
You know what else is really good are the Leinenkugel's seasonal packs.
I like most lagers, not big into ales.
Just give me something ice-cold and brewed by a guy named Wilhelm.

Beer, smokes and cars... that's all? Those are the only topics we are going to discuss in a Backsliders Thread? With all the topics we COULD be discussing in a dedicated thread for backsliders - many of them more absorbing and of more... ahem... visceral interest - beer, smokes and cars is all we get?

Man, talk about wasted potential...

Eric Church rocks..... great voice, very good musical arrangements...kind of an echo-y quality in many of them. His first big hit was that way... "Like a Wrecking Ball"

My new one has more power than I probably need... but it's quite a feeling to be able to pass someone going 75 without even breaking a sweat... love it.
