QUOTE="2ndRateMind, post: 4779151, member: 309925"].
But where I tread, at every turn
Are men of faith, set grim and stern
Rigid in their claims to be
So righteous they know more than me,
.[/QUOTE]

Yes, about what counts in they/we end they do!
So far as I can make out, righteousness and knowledge are separate domains. That is what I was trying to get across in the poem. I have nothing against righteousness, so long as it is not mistaken for knowledge, and is not confused with self-righteousness.

Best wishes, 2RM.

We recently had the anniversary of the Sandyhook massacre, in which 26 people were shot and killed, including 20 children.
We recently had the tenth anniversary of the Sandyhook massacre, in which 26 people were shot and killed, including 20 children. Had the shooter been limited to rocks for weapons there is little doubt that the death toll would be far lower, indeed, there may well have been no fatalities at all. If you have sins, and we all do, it seems foolish to allow us to tool up.

All this prompts the question: 'Do Americans love their guns more than they love their children?'

It only prompts the question to the troubled and unrepentant mind, such as that of a subject, not a citizen.(y)

Please, address the post, not the poster. Otherwise your argument is ad hominem, which, as we all know perfectly well, is a logical fallacy.

A very foolish question that does not deserve an answer but I will.
I love my children, all children, so much that I do own a gun, know how to use it, and will use it to defend all children.
I would even defend you if need be.

Agreed, and we know the U.K. needed bailed out twice in the 20th century and as of yet, still have not learned, they are now inviring in satan worshiping non-christians to reek havoc.

America was late in joining us as we fought the two world wars. The UK has joined in American forreign policy adventures, such as Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan right from the start.

Unless we show satanists the truly decent way of being, we cannot hope to convert them. That said, I have not heard of any such projects, so it seems to be 'fake news' of the type put about by conspiracy theorists. But perhaps you can provide dependable references for this allegation?

A few pages back I anticipated and answered this point. Your problem, I think, is theoretical on the one side, and practical on the other. The theory is the answer to the question 'should Christians go about armed?' However, even if you decide they shouldn't, you still have the practical question 'how should the disarmament be proceed?' Unless this can be accomplished so rapidly the bad guys with guns have no chance to take advantage, I agree, you risk making matters worse.

Satan and his minions aren't interested. You must not have got the memo.
Please get your mind right.

Our redeeming God is interested, and wants us to leave none behind. So long as that is so, I am interested, too.

Richman- do you have a favorite caliber?
I have a 243 bolt action I use for deer. It is at least 60 years old.
I have an old 38 revolver. My favorite for target practice.
Now that my sight is not what it used to be, I have a 12 gauge pomp action and a 410 Judge revolver that I carry when in the woods cutting firewood.
Do not care for 9mm or 45.

Currently a LOT of reloading supplies are MIA.

Powder, primers, and dies are not available whatsoever. Try getting supplies for 300 blackout...
GLTY....

9mm & 45 are plentiful...but not much else.

30-06 there seems to be a little...
Bullets are really dwindling fast....specialty are also missing.

38 special, yep, a dandy of a caliber.
I used to shoot a lot of 45, grandson has settlled on 9mm, so grandpa is loading a lot of 9mm.
