JAD = Joint Application Development = An iterative process which involves working with the stakeholders through a number of versions of the application beginning with initial specification and a prototype
RAD = Rapid application Development = As above but you start using the application from the earliest versions. Often the main things added in the later versions are more reports. I have huge experience with MIS reporting; MIS = Management Information Systems;
