They said I should go into greater depth with my characters. I don't tell the reader enough about them.

Hmmmm if it were me that was told that I'd write one about 1 character. Sort of like Catcher in the rye. For practice. What're you planning next Ress?

I love that book.

I end up over- focusing on character, telling lots about everyone and making the stories looong :p

Its a good story, a long story but it has some great characters.

Judge Judy, News, This Old House, Ask This Old House, Leave it to Beaver, Hazel, Laurel and Hardy, golf, football, Alfred Hitchcock, Stargate SG-1, America's Test Kitchen (Cook's Country,) and a few others.

Ah okay that all sounds familiar except for the older tv shows. I'll watch most of that stuff though :) I don't really watch tv anymore but the last thing I was watching was Criminal Minds, Law and Order, and Psych.

I like smart tv shows. I also saw a hint of faith in Criminal Minds: whenever the FBI would get asked if they believe in God they would be like: You can't say there isn't a God. Definitely. I'd pray and ask for an answer for that.

Some of those criminal shows are pretty good. I have to go to bed early, and I don't have cable or satellite TV, so I am not completely up-to-date on what the good modern TV shows are.

I want to know how to pick the sweet fruits from the store because I bought a slightly sweet watermelon & some bitter oranges :(
