I went through two years of Latin in high school and a few weeks of Spanish from community college. The Latin generally helps me pick up the meaning of some conversations, but I'm not always accurate. So many languages are Latin based, so it can be helpful.

I'm currently taking Hebrew. I can read, write and speak it, but I'm focusing my studies on Biblical Hebrew as opposed to conversational Hebrew, although we have a program called Byki that helps with flash cards for conversation. Currently, we're in the middle of learning grammar and that's been tough, but rewarding.

I DID NOT ENJOY SPANISH IN HIGH SCHOOL FOR 4 YEARS. LO AND BEHOLD, SOME PEOPLE I'VE BEEN WITH DID NOT KNOW ENGLISH, AND I REMEMERED THE THINGS I LIEARNED. I FELT LIKE LIKE A IMPORTANT PERSON, KNOWING JUST A FEW SENTENCES, AFTER 4 YEARS OF SPANISH SHOWS I WASN'T INTERESTED IN IT. GOOD WORK WITH THE HEBREW. I KNOW HOW TO SAY SOMETHING. SHALOM. :)

Semi-fluent/conversational in American Sign Language.

I LOVE SIGN LANGUAGE. TRIED TO GET MY DAUGTHER TO LEARN IT AS A CAREER, AND WORK WITH CHILDREN. A GENTLE SPIRIT, PROVES GENTLENESS OF HANDS, AND IT COULD SHOW A LOT OF LOVE AND THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT. I THINK IT'S LIKE A GIFT. SIGNING. :)

I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW WE WILL COMMUNICATE IN HEAVEN. WHAT LANGUAGE WILL IT BE. HOW WILL WE LEARN IT. I KNOW THIS MUCH WHAT EVER THE LORD WILL DO, IT IS DONE QUICK. LOVE IS A UNIVERAL LANGUAGE. OFFERING SOME ONE COOL WATER TO THE THRISTY, WITHOUT A WORD, IS A LANGUAGE. KINDNESS, TOO. SOMETIMES OUR ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. HOW COULD YOU DESCRIBE JESUS CARRYING HIS CROSS "DOWN THE VIA DELOROSA" ON THE WAY TO CALVARY. I LOVE THAT SONG ALSO. :)
