Santa clause also showed up and everybody stared at him with deadly condemnation. You know what happened next, it was death by shaming.
No Christmas party without Santa and Sandy Paws.

Christmas, from a cat's point of view:

Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree

Your ornaments are history!

Deck the hall with boughs of holly
Wreck the walls and blame the doggies.

Fa la lalalalal

;)

This made me remember a funny story that happened a bunch of years ago. I come from a blended family. What I mean by this is Mama's side is Baptist and Daddy's side is Pentecostal. I was at a Christmas Eve family gathering about 15 years ago, and this family gathering was blended, some of mama's kin and mostly daddy's kin. One uncle dressed like Santa every year for the kids.
That year my cousin was in town with his family, including his cutie patootie daughter who was about 4 then. (she's grown now and HATES this story) Santa was there, and she sat on his lap.
Santa: what would you like for CHristmas this year?
Cousin: blank stare
silence for a few seconds....
Cousin: You need to be filled with the Holy Ghost and not be Santa!!
Then she hugged him and walked away.

I laughed so hard eggnog came out my nose!!

Back to the topic...
I imagine a CC Christmas party would be filled with a LOT of food, Music and a lot of laughter. Probably some anger and a few tears. WHo knows maybe a fist fight or two......but then again....what family gathering doesn't have those things? :p

Aw....what about Rudolph. Is there a Rudolph bear. :)
The closest I have to Rudolph is a horse stick. (Remember riding a stick with a horsehead on it as kids? We found one for a buck at a dollar store. It was a buck, because it was too short for a baby to ride it. lol) I also have a headband with reindeer antlers on it (same store, so it doesn't fit my head), and I put them on the horse stick.

We named her, Nelly, as in, "Whoa, Nelly." lol

(And, yes my stuffed dog wears a lampshade at parties. So maybe I'm that person.)

I'm sure it would be fun, but I have to be honest if arguing about Christmas being evil or pagan would make me down a few glasses of wine.
