What's interesting to me, with all the pope bashing, much like the Obama bashing is that it's all self serving.

How do you know God's relationship with the Pope or Obama? or any of the other leaders out there.

The Pope is a guy that does massive amounts of prayer daily to God. Yet people here sit in judgement simply because they don't like Catholics or because their local Christian community hates Catholics?

Think before you do this.

You could be bashing and criticising someone that God loves dearly.

Will you be called to account for this behaviour?

I can show you Jesus placed Peter in charge.
Trinity is not in the bible you believe it.
Altar calls are not in the bible,
the sinners prayer is not in the bible,
scripture only is not in the bible,
faith alone was an addition to the bible by Luther imagine if the pope would have changed a word?
So faith alone has never been in the bible
Once saved always saved is not in the bible, plenty scripture says you can be cut off
Luther took out seven books out of the bible, how would you feel if the pope took out seven books?
Wearing a tuxedo as a preacher is not in the bible.
The bible tells us the church is the pillar and bulwark [a defensive wall] of the truth,
the bible tells us to hold to traditions.
Catholics do not believe works alone can save us
The true catholic teaching has always been we are saved by Grace, Luther did not vision it
Catholics believe both the bible and the church
The pope is not and has never been Jesus
I got plenty more and much scripture to back all of the claims.

There wrong people all over the world. Why don't we bash them? It doesn't really matter what you believe about Catholics. The fact is God still created them and loves them no matter their theology. Guess what? He loves you and me too regardless of our wrongness or rightness.
Why bash the pope for making a healthy choice? We can only go by what has announced, so we can't just assume an alternate reason and then bash him for that. Why is stepping down because of health related issues such a bad thing. Leave the man alone. Did we bash Steve Jobs for stepping down? No, most people showed genuine concern.

You know i have had my share in bashing obama and i am sorry and ask forgiveness fromg god. But I do not care wether someome is catholic, christian, or whatever. We all are called to god so why does it matter? I mean we are going to have to show them the light if they will listen, however i am not comfortable with satanics. They worship what they do not know

Im not bashing him I was making a point, we don't need to go to confessions, that's why jesus came for us, to confess to and ask forgiveness from, not the guy in the ticket booth,

This is not a catholic site. Its a Christian site. Even the site owners official policy is that catholocism is not part of Christianity. I for one get tired of seeing catholic posts on here.

Thank you, I don't like the Catholic assumption that there have be people holier then yourself between you and God, that goes against the entire reason for Jesus to have come here

I have no problem with bible-believing Catholics. What I do take issue with are those who believe everyone is out to get them for belonging to another denomination. If you're that fearful about your position, maybe God is trying to tell you something.

The real satanics do know about and beleive in God's existence, same as with Jesus Christ. What is wrong with them is that they have chosen satan as their lord and worship him. Also because satan makes them beleive in lies they think they will get after their earthly life, e.t.c...

They have chosen the wrong path. Still, they too are in need for Salvation like everyone else. God loves them very much too, and each time a satanic finds God's Salvation, they become strong witnesses for reaching out to other lost satanics.

Also; satanics do have the ability of reading minds of people, except of the minds of Beleivers of Christ, as those ones are protected by the Holy Spirit. Something they too notice whenever this happens to them.

I will agree there are several things you mentioned that are not in the bible(and I do not believe in those things), yet some of the things you mention are not actually true or misrepresented.

There were never any books taken from the bible. They werent there to begin with. These books do not line up with scripture. They were not written by apostles. They contain unbiblical concepts. They were also not considered inspired. They are false writings.

As far as "bashing". Yes, some do. At the same time just because some do not agree with certain people or teachings that doesn't mean they are bashing them.

I do not agree with Catholicism. I do not agree with Obama on many many issues. I do not hate Catholics and I certainly do not hate Obama. I don't bash people because they do not see the world they way I do. I try my best nt to bash anyone yet sometimes I fail at that. I'm human.

Something to think about isn't it? I do not believe in most of their rituals. And there are things that are just not right or scriptural. Things like worshipping Mary ( I do believe she is blessed for giving birth to Jesus). but, not nthat she was still a virgin after she died. She did have other children. My biggest thing is that there is no reason why people should need to go to a man to be forgiven of sin. Onkly God can do that. After the curtain was torn that meant that man's separation from God was through and we could all...individually...go to Him direct and receive for giveness. I have catholic friends who believe this as well but they have always been catholic...they say born catholic.

Hi Rock, First of all, I couldn't figure out how to reply with quotes. There is already text in the box and was not sure if I should delete that to reply or not. Anyway, The trinity is expressed several times. When Jesus was baptized the holy spirit descended on hom...God said "This is my beloved Son..." This clearly shows the trinity. Here is a question...a real one without sarcasm...Do cathloics believe in the Holy Spirit?

Also,The clothes worn is just silly and nit-picky. Is wearing a black suit and white collar mentioned in the Bible? I don't think anyone in their right mind believes that popes think are jesus. I was a cathloic when I was younger and actually wanted to be a priest. So, I can't bash them...I do disagree with what they believe at times. I also do not believe in the infallacy of the pope...or the infallacy of any human.

What is interesting is that a lot on here aren't educated on Catholicism, just from what others say and assumptions, and stuff in the media. I can tell just by reading these posts. Take a step back maybe to understand why Catholic's have certain practices and beliefs, understand context and biblical backing before you place your judgment upon them.
