I love iced coffee also. Over ice. Shaken, not stirred. Please, go ahead and make me one of your coffee concoctions. Leave it in the freezer. I will drink it after I log off for the night. I may need a straw, oh, make that two straws!!
Never stirred my friend! :) It's in the freezer awaiting you with two straws on the counter-top! =)

My coffee concoction this morning..

I brewed cinnamon hazelnut coffee, added two pumps of hazelnut coffee syrup into it, blended it with ice, a little bit a ready whip and sprinkled some cinnamon ontop :)

Oh, I make a lot of coffee at home too! Starbucks is expensive, and it adds up quickly!! It's more of a treat for me! I try to go on payday Friday's and also buy the person that's behind me their coffee to! Always pay it forward! :) Unfortunately I don't know how to make my own espresso, but I think I should learn! lol =) I've came up with some yummy coffee concoctions! But there is still nothing like a Starbucks coffee/frapp! :)
Hi CourtneyAnn
I like what you said there, especially paying it forward.Coffee at Starbucks is very high priced, although i have bought it there and i was thinking on the way over there that this must be the best coffee ever, but it was ok and not equal to the price.
But nevertheless,i like what you said there.:)

Hmmm. I mostly order cappuccino because I love to pour demarara sugar on top and eat the sweet substance once I have finished the coffee :D Otherwise I have caffe latte or caffe mocha. Latte with after eight is also good, but I haven't seen that on cafes, so I have to make it myself (Note to self: I should get a steamer).

Ok .....ive been avoiding this.......because I work at starbucks......I know its expensive to go to the store.....if you order
brewed coffee its only a couple of dollars........as for steamers.....not necessary if you have a microwave and small
Whip.....I found them at the dollar store....and they have batteries.....microwave milk till hot and whip.....I learned this from
friends I met from Ethiopia.....another thing is ....try chok full of nuts....one of the cheaper coffees at your grocery store....
I always have some in my house......I have been making coffee since I was a child....being that my father worked at a coffee
Plant when I was growing up....in fact I gotta go my coffee is getting cold.......
The secret to making a good pot of coffee is the water to coffee ratio.....heaping tablespoon to 2cups of water...
Adjust the coffee to your taste....brew on my friends.....

I have tried so many different kinds of coffee and I just don't like them. The only thing I can handle is General Foods international coffee (I think it is called Maxwell Brand now) Vanilla Caramel Latte. That is because the coffee taste is so mild it is almost like drinking hot cocoa.

If any of you coffee experts have a suggestion, I am willing to try.

For now, Coca Cola is my 'coffee'.

Try adding coffee to those international mixes instead of water.......might change your mind.....even the hot choc....can be
Used........

Mix a packet of hot chocolate into your coffee, that's always good! Plus they have so many coffee creamers you can choose from now! I just bought the girls scout thin mint coffee creamer the other day and it's delish! Also watch the way you make your coffee. You can adjust how strong or how weak you want your coffee to be :)

Thank you, jogoldie. I was blessed to have avoided the serious storms. My neighbors to the north of me are the ones who have suffered. Clean up is going well, just praying no more storms like that come through any part of the country. The death and devastation are almost too much to comprehend.

Your continued prayers are very much needed and appreciated. We are doing all we can to help. I am a teacher and the students at my school did a 'necessity' drive--soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby wipes, diapers, etc. Things people will need. I was very proud of them for doing this on their own.
