Same here! But it's always windy here. So. California, High Desert. High wind warnings until midnight tonight. Caused a power outage last week, but it only lasted 40 minutes. Thank you God!

I've seen impressive pictures of Ayer's Rock/Uluru and the Olgas...especially when lit with the dawn and evening sun, they look amazing. Kind of arid, though; Alice Springs must be among the least watered towns...

Yeah they surely are amazing, havent come close to seeing it myself ajd no I dont think they get much rain being so far from the oceans

I think that the Pitjantjatjara-speaking folk kind of own the rights to Ayer's Rock/Uluru, and district. People sometimes forget that Australia is a continent in itself, with so many regional and weather variations.

A cousin of mine lived in Brisbane.

Way too hot and it's uncomfortable... I guess it makes up for all the cold weather we've had til this point but it's such a drastic change...

Currently it is 95 Farenheight (35 C) out and the dew point is around 80 F (27 C). In other words it's hot and humid as your bathroom after you've taken a hot shower and forgotten to turn on the fan. Summer is most definitely here.

It's actually very chilly here today. It's beginning of May and seriously feels like its April. Nice crisp air, gentle breeze. Only gonna get to like lower 60's today.
