It was and is, such a lovely gift and I agree, when i pray wearing it I know it holds no special powers :) but does create a special atmosphere. I do not wear it every day, but when i do, I connect with my Lord in another way. I thought you might like to see some pics. My shawl is called a 'Queen Esther' shawl and its colour is purple. :) <><
