Why Christian Chat?

Why only now you decide to join it?

What is your purpose here?

How do you think it will impact your life and other lives?

Where do you think it will lead you?

When can you say, "Enough of Christian Chat."?

IF we don't know all the concrete answers to all of the above questions... then why bothered to chat?

Do we really need a reason for everything that we do?

I was wondering if they were rhetorical questions...

you could post a reply and finish the original thought, you don't have to edit the first post to finish the thread...

I'm sorry. That wasn't meant to sound accusatory, I was just confused. Thank you for understanding.

1) Why not Christian Chat? As I have participated in several different Christian Sites, I can say without hesitation that this site ranks easily in the Top Two...........and I would have to flip a coin to determine if it was #1 or #2......

2) Only now? Some have been members here for YEARS........so, only now doesn't apply.......I'm still a "newbie" I suppose but for even me "only now" would not apply.

3) I would hope that everyone's purpose would be to fellowship with other believers

4) As for impacting lives, sharing the Gospel will always be a positive thing. Some will learn from others, some will teach others, but my hope is that ALL WILL GROW IN CHRIST.

5) It doesn't have to lead us anywhere.........we should be LED by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.....

6) I, you, anyone can say "enough CC" anytime they want......no one FORCES people to fire up their computer and come on CC.............so that isn't really an issue.........well, in my opinion....... I would say that a "break" now and again from The World Wide Web is a good thing............not JUST Christian Chat........sometimes we need to take a break from it all......dig out our Bibles and spend time fellowshipping with God via sincere prayer and the reading/studying of His Word ...... just us and Him............but, now, that's just me, so.............

7) If someone DOESN'T have a REASON for doing something.............WHY in the world are they DOING it? I can't think of anything I do that there isn't a reason for............

Ø Why Christian Chat?
I have also participated in some CC, I found this site influencing.
Ø Why only now?
It applies to a newcomer like me. It’s only now that I have the time and the need to chat with Christians from other countries.
Ø My purpose, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17.
Ø The impact for me is going back to the basic of Christianity. It will impact other lives by forming Christ in them… “Until Christ is formed in us.”
Ø It leads me to something higher than my simple Christian living. Being led by the Holy Spirit is given. It’s not a formula that I’m looking for or there is something missing. It’s not even a system… more an honorable one. Perhaps a noble task? Two heads are better than one, what about more?
Ø I have same answer, p_rehbein ^o^, it's up to me to decide when to stop or to break.
Ø We don’t do things by instinct, we do things by reason.

Voila!
Enjoy Christian Chat!

Thanks for liking my thread and for your comments.

Why Christian Chat? I don´t know other like this and, besides, I´m bored from my culture and language.

What is your purpose here? None, exactly. It´s another way to be connected "purposely" within a Christian fellowship I might have found at some churches I went, but honesty or openess is seldom found, so I rather stay around CC.

How do you think it will impact your life and other lives? I don´t know about the others! Mine has changed and grown, a little (it wouldn´t be fair if I denied it grew "too much" in other areas)

Where do you think it will lead you? I don´t know and I don´t care. I´m not my own (Joh 3:8 The wind blows wherever it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." )

When can you say, "Enough of Christian Chat."? That´s relative! I can be largely ignored or I could try to ignore others. Chatting or visiting this site can be done as a guesst, also, so -when anonimity is needed- some people came to see what´s going on, but that´s not the way it should be. I have to responsible for me (and others). Additionally, CC has a staff that can kick me off or ban me for misbehaving so, CC users also have the right to say: "Good bye, Secular"

IF we don't know all the concrete answers to all of the above questions... then why bothered to chat? I see this as an interactive chat one you have posted anything. Some thread are bound to be ignored or baned, some are capsule times and, asI have seen myself, some answers I´ve been seeking, someelse BEFORE wrote on that subject I was about to write and, in sevral cases, I have receive kind insight to those questions I have here (I´m "new", sonce las year)

Do we really need a reason for everything that we do? Certainly there are reasons! One thing is telling them and, another, is allowing others to know them by guessing (while many are keep in secrecy).

Duh

Well! here I wasn´t chatting but trying to talk while you are on you saturday rest (I guess). ;)
