I often wonder what it is about us that God thinks worth so much. Sending His beloved Son to sacrifice Himself.
So do you think you are worth it? I'm sure I'm not. Looking at what's going on at any time in history, just look at us! All sinners, even the best of us.
If I was Him I would destroy this planet and stop all the pain.

Why do we love those whom we love? His reason is far superior to ours, so He loves us, that should help to understand.

But we are terrible as a species. We are destructive and are incapable of peace. What is there to love about us?
God must look at our activities here and regret creating us. We do not deserve His love.

He looks into our hearts and knows how each one truly is, not how they may appear. This alone should give all who believe great solace.
He is perfect, He IS Love as is written. For the sake of all who do love many will be separated but this too is a matter of real Love, that is to say Our Father.

Any real dad loves his child, even if his child is determined to be a jerk.

He loves us because we’re His kids.:) He is our Father and He created each one of us.

Yeah, get me to an angelic state already with no free-will. I know probably He created robots before and it wasn't very pleasing for fellowship ... but get me to a robot state already. I don't want this free-will anymore.

Angels have freewill. They simply don't have a redeemer.

I mean sure, that's why fallen angels exist but i don't think it's the same level of free-will like us and this is another mystery for me when i see the state of affairs in our fallen world.
And i don't know if our suffering here is greater than the fallen angels either. I think it is, but i'm not sure.

Hey brother. Not sure of what extent of the punishment for angels or people is. Terribly glad it no longer applies to me.

Anyone made In the Image of GOD Is potentially his son.GOD loves his son.
You probably should have asked why did GOD create us?

Key word being potential. We have the potential to be called God's children. Saying we all are is
erroneous according to Scripture, unless we place our faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus
Christ as payment for our sin debt, that we may be reconciled to God, escape the second death,
and attain to life ever after. Then we have the right to claim we are children of God. All belongs
to God because He created everything, but those who do not believe are called children of Satan.

I know you don't mean this as a sin, but it is one. Like Job saying it would have been better for him to not be born. It's basically undermining God's decision and creating this idea that human beings are worthless (which is of the devil).

I'd jump in front of a gun for my kids and I'm a sinful person.

Fair? What is fair? Many things happen that are not fair. So instead just praise and thank God. Live your life as if you matter bc you do.

Recently musing about the passive nature of "being" baptized I think it must be a control fixation or something if we find ourselves not able to "be" loved without 'actively doing' something. There are many songs that have been written about this that goes in the way of 'might as well do this or do that," which advise that we should do anything but "be loved." :confused: Which, I'm pretty sure, is what we were created to 'do.' :unsure:

God is Love, when you figure that out maybe you will have a more charitable view towards other people.
