I live in California, but not near any beaches or anything =)

Oh so you're 2000 miles from here! I love the beaches I'm sorry you don't live near them. I find such peace in watching the waves and tides, knowing even they are under God's will!

Yep we're on opposite sides of the country. I really like the ocean too. That's a nice way to think about the waves I never saw them that way.

It's not a problem we love and forgive as Jesus commanded us to!
I want to love like him. The funny thing is this post is called "why is I'm sorry not enough?" And I feel like he's gone forever. I don't feel his presence anymore the way I used to. All that's left is this fear because he rejected me. My heart has more hatred and fear than love. I've fallen and I need Jesus more than ever, but it's like this now. Like he's done forever.

Show them how wonderful and FEARFULLY she/he is made. You don't speak in the impossible. Lord I know your restoring power for I too wandered from the c

Depends on what you’re sorry for. Are you sorry that you did something wrong or sorry you got caught doing it? Are you sorry someone feels bad about something you said, or are you sorry YOU feel guilty about their reaction. Are you sorry that you bumped into that person, or are you sorry they were in your way. Do you apologize because you were wrong, or because YOU are the better person so YOU will let the jerk give you the blame for what they did to YOU.

I think there’s nothing wrong with being sorry. But if you truly mean it in the right way, I think it leads to change of behavior.

Am I good at doing that? Heck no I’m hugely stubborn.

Sometimes when someone says "I'm sorry" they mean that they are sorry for themselves. They are sorry they were caught, they are sorry that their behaviour has consequences for themselves and sorry that people know about their behaviour. If they try to blame someone else, including yourself, right after saying that they are sorry, then there has been no true apology.

Words don't matter it's what you say that counts.
I don't think we get to judge the heart, that's God's and his alone.

All sin and fall short of the Glory of God.
Any one who says he is without sin is a liar and the truth is not in him.
And Romans chapter 7, 8,&9.

It's best to just accept that repentance is a lifestyle not a one shot stopper.
How many of you have failed in the same area many times over? Not even wanting to yet doing it anyway.
