James 3 - he talks about the taming of the tongue

The tongue can kill or heal.
I always have to remind myself of this verse because in the past, whenever someone upsets me and with my emotions in turmoil, I reply, it just comes out all wrong and actually hurts the other person as well. So it becomes evil with evil instead of good over evil
So now I just listen and bite my tongue. I ponder on it and wait and when my feelings are calm, then only will I speak. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me. At times, I don't because I find sometimes it is better to remain silent because I don't need to have the last word. Learning humbleness!

poptarts are my greatest weakness and i fall into their spell almost everytime

I got a request about who god is and about his name. I found this interesting because there are so many things that could be used to explain this but i decided to have a little fun and research it. i actualy found something cool. as for his name apparently he is known of many but i found one that you may have to look for to find in the bible. he is known as Elohim- this name is made up of two hebrew words. the title(EL) means( power,strength and might) it is the first name of god we see and it is used over two thousand times in the bible! it is a plural form of a hebrew word. to be able to explain the characteristics of god would be impossible because they are endless but we can at least name some. god is- eternal,omnipresent(everywhere) holy,just,Omniscient(all knowing),omnipotent(all powerful) and faithful. while there is the mighty and powerful side to him there is also the soft side. he is gentle and caring, he worries about our safety, and will strike down the ones who hurt us. like a father would for his precious daughter( you know what i am talking about those extreemly protective dads) . then there is the smart side of him, he is wise, he has understanding and insight. He created the heavens and the earth with wisdom, with insight and understanding he made something as complex as us human beings( and trust me the way he built us we are very complex ) But above all he is love. he is the very being of love. I am not talking about the love we humans have for each other, no his love is not only a supernatural and unreal love it is like a new emotion all together. We cannot describe his love because we are new to this kind of love, because we are not used to his love and it takes us over. When we feel this love it is like we are robots because we naturally do the things he has taught us to do. like we don't even have to try anymore we just do it, we are suddenly soft and gentle. When i first felt this love i felt my entire soul was soft and at peace, i felt my eyes become soft and i truly cared even for a tiny bug. I couldn't get myself to kill it LOL

Sry i have been gone for i while as for words of wisdom i have none but a dream the lord gave me that really changed my perspective of my faith. You see i was freaking out because i was so worried about if my faith was weak or if it was strong or something. I refuse to be a lukewarm christian and i was going on a walk at sunset and i finally told god i know he wants me to build my faith a little at a time but I wanted so much to have the kind of relationship i wanted. I seem to have this issue often i told god that I was so excited for the end of days because i told him that once this happens he will mark his children and i somehow just knew once he does that i would finally have that bond i wanted with him and told god not to rapture me but instead allow me to serve him for the thousand years satan will be trapped. I told him we would finally be one and i could do all the things my heart promised him i would do, and whats better is i can do this for a thousand years. That night I unexpectantly had a vision I was in a court room with a man in front saying things against the bible and the people who were there in the seats along with I could tell the were different and that they were full of the holy spirit. The flipped through the bible without even touching it at such an increadable speed. Like they knew the bible more that themselves, and found the only verse in the bible to prove the man wrong. suddenly a door opened and death entered the roiomTHIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD he said for me and two other young men to come with him and i was happy and said YES i can finally go home to jesus! we went into an elevator and wnetered hell he sat at his desk and i said so when can i go to heaven? he said you cant you are in hell forever. I was very worried I thought to myelf ( I thought for sure i was on the right path) I looked at one of the young men who turned into a fragile old man and the other young man- I could see the pain aand misery coming out of him as black smoke and the demons were feeding off of it. I turned to death and said i think this is a test. He asked me what kind of test do you think this is? I said in a strong tone( I think this is a test of my faith, my love and trust for god. I suddenly slammed my hands on the desk and yelled( I CHOOSE TO BELEIVE AND TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST!) I was suddely taken away from hell and there was a huge pool and suddenly i could hear a song saying it's time to take a leap of faith. I closed my eyes and imagined all the colors of the living water i was about to jump into and jumped. I came out feeling great and i could see i was naked but was not ashamed and i could see corridors of other pools of living water and then the dream ended. The message i got was god telling me my faith is so strong that it could go against even hell. I was the only one there who chose to trust god and that is why i was saved

I found that sometimes we will meet someone who has known this part of god. there are so many things about god we do not understand and i doubt we can ever fully know him but trusting him isn't easy at times. we can trust him for a lot of the times but hey we are human after all. We question his ways even abraham did and he was the most loyal of servents of his time. I questioned him a lot today and i prayed for something i know he won't give me yet because i know i have to wait for it. But i wish sometimes he would just for one time answer this prayer for me. This prayer is very specail to me and is something only he can give me. I assume i can only have it one time but i would glad just for that one time.

Today the lesson is about stewardship(giving) with all that god gives us you would think we would be more giving, but the lord has challenged us- before you get the wrong idea read this-malachi3:8-12 should a person rob god? but you are robbing me. you ask how have we robbed you? you have robbed me in your offerings and the tenth of your crops. so a curse is on you, because the whole nation has robbed me. Bring to the storehouse a full tenth of what you earn so there will be food in my house.(TEST ME IN THIS) says the lord all powerful. I will open the windows of heaven for you and pour out the blessings you need. I will stop the insect so they won't eat you crops. The grapes won't drop from your vines before they are ready to be picked says the lord all powerful. all nations will call you blessed, because you will have a pleasent country, says the lord all powerful. you remember when scripture says do not test your lord your god? well this is one thing he wants us to test him in, like i said he has made a playful challenge. Also when we give we must not give with a greedy heart. What i mean by that is if you give all he asks is ten percent and he will bless and repay you for it. But imagine what would happen to gladly give him more? I got a twenty dollar bill once, i rarely ever get money so this was a big deal to me. But i wanted more than anything to give it to god but it was not sunday. so i thought how can i give god what is rightfully his? i remembered there was a seven eleven in walkable distance that had a jar to put money in for the needy> I thought to myself YES i can give god my money that way! when i gave the money i felt nothin, which is good because i had no regret, I knew that all i did was give god what was his in the first place. Did i get blesed? not to my knowledge but i would do it again because i didn't do it to get blessed i did it to make god happy.

And just as the words of the wise have been said a flower blossems in full in spring. And just as it is wise to keep these words of wisdom by your side and rose is wise to keep it's thorns sharp to protect.

I wanted to say something wise to help someone but all i can do is pour out my heart. More than anything i want to touch someones heart, to give them hope when they are drowning in the darkness. But this is not possible without god. I know that everything i am everything i have and everything i say that gives life to others is from god. I was deep in thought to day and i heard god whisper to me i am kind in heart. i responded to him ( No lord it is not me who is kind in heart, i am only kind because YOU made me that way. on my own i am and can do nothing. I am on my own with out salt and tastless. I am stale and undesireable to eat. i see myself as a messenger of god, no glory no riches just to obey and say what is commanded of me. And i would prefere to stay that way for fear of becoming prideful and seeing myself of wisdom. a messenger cannot do as he pleases but must fufill the commands of the sender who is my king, and god. But i also feel ashamed, since i am deibetic i am not supposed to have a lot of sugar, I do not see this as a bad thing for it teaches me discipline and the lord disciplines the ones he loves. But poptarts are my greatest weakness and i fall into their spell almost everytime and i feel ashamed to even ask god for forgiveness knowing iwill most likely do it again. If i was really sorry i would not do it again at all. But this is all part of the learning proccess and i will not let this stop me. No matter how i feel i know my duty to help and serve others here in cc and i adore it.
