You are so right!
Perhaps I need to learn again how to count my blessings that can only come from God. I am recovering from a lot of bad things that have happen to me for the past several months and I feel physically and emotionally drained. I do believe that it is the trials and tribulations that are endured that define who we are inside. I am praying that God provides a season of abundant living so that I may experience joy in my heart once again.

I too am recovering from quite a few bad experiences. I agree that our trials define who we are but I don't think we should define ourselves totally by what has happened to us. I think God sends our trials for reasons we may never know and even though it is difficult to do we should be thankful for those things as well. Recovery doesn't come quickly when you are both emotionally and physically drained....at least not for me. I have been out of my bad situation just over 4 months and am just now starting to feel like even getting up on my feet. The emotional recovery is taking a bit longer than I would like but I pray each day and little by little things are getting better. I hope things start going better for you as well and with God's ever present help they will!

Thank you Lord Jesus for getting me on my feet this morning. Thank you for the strength to carry wood for the fire and the skill to get it started again with out too much trouble on this cold and frosty morning. Thank you for the gift of making a good cup of coffee to start my day. Thank you for mornings and the hope of a better day.
On cold frosty mornings it is good to have a warm, cozy blanket. I love wood fires and coffee is always a good thing too!

Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me my daily provision. Thank you for all you have provided me all my life to this day. I know that You will provide my provision for tomorrow if that is Your will for me. I know that all things come by your hand. Thank you for teaching me not to seek the provision for tomorrow while it is still today.
