I've had a few "Hm... too much computer time lately" moments recently. But add your own cos I'm sure I'm not the only one!

You know you've been sitting at a computer too long / often when...


- You say "LOL BRB and TTYL" (etc) aloud in conversation, and start inventing abbreviations on the spot... "CBB" (Can't be bothered) ...

- You're writing something by hand and can't fight the nagging urge to wanna hit Ctrl + S to make sure your work gets saved (My sister was having this problem recently during an exam and in the end she had to hit the spots on the page where those buttons would be to make herself feel better.)...

-You hear a song on the radio and go to type out your comments to the person singing as though they are live and can see / hear your response...

lol, I too have had the urge to "save" written stuff :D

And I hate the fact that during exams, one cant just add text in the middle of two text- areas and expect the lower half to move down as you write :p

Hahaha yeah they should use computers in exams and let u just hit print at the end. Or even just save it, to save on paper. Who knows. Life continues to advance technologically...

yeah, but problem with computers is: if it crashes totally, all your work is lost :S

Not if you save it to a text file and upload it as an email attachment to your own email address.

I do that all the time, but on most exams, you aren't allowed to use the internet...

You know you've been sitting at a computer too long when you can hear the voices of your cc friends in your dreams, then wake up and realise you fell asleep with your headphones on again.

You know you've been sitting at a computer too long when you're genuinly confused about what day it is and when you ate and showered last.

You know you have been on the computer too long when you get excited because someone finally gets on after 4 hours of staring at the screen.

This was before i got my laptop. You know you have been on the computer too long when you realize you can't feel your butt.

You know you have been on the computer too long when you look at the Skype conversation and see it hit 8 continuous hours. (done that many many times).

You know you've been sitting at a computer too long when you shake hands with someone at church, introduce yourself, hear them tell you their name... and then feel at a loss when you can't click on it to view their profile so you can "see who you're talking to" and just check how old they are.

You know you've been sitting at a computer too long when attend a bible study and when you have something to say you just can't help wanting to click a microphone symbol when there's a break.
