How do I deal with mentaill illness. I wish I did not have it. I don't blame Jesus or God. But I want to know why people have it all the time?

I don't know. But I do know that you already have this same subject on a thread in the singles forum. You don't need to make more than one thread on it..

Strange how you joined in November, yet only chose today, 5 months later, to start posting..

The brain is physical, like the rest of the body. And the same way the body gets sick, or is born with something not functioning properly, so the same can happen with the brain. There's mental illness.

From my personal experience all I can say is get good sleep, eat well, listen to the doctors. Eat, sleep, take your meds. But first and foremost, pray and seek out Christian counselors.

I wish I did not have a night mare. It was about my cat. And I know it is not from Jesus Christ. I would do everything to not have night mares but I do. I see therapist on thursedays.

Never mind bleu ladybug, she does this often it's just how she is with new people. I have no issue with where you've posted and want to, instead of making an issue welcome you to CC.

Why is there mental illness? I'd say due to the fall of the world into sin. My brother was schizophrenic, hard to see this take place with him, hard to deal with. I am glad you aren't blaming God for your situation, that is good to hear!

Again, I am glad you're here and that you posted this in this forum. God bless! :)

How do we deal with any illness? We pray, seek professional help, listen to what they tell us to do, try it, if it works, cool, if it doesn't go back and tell them it's not working, and keep going. Sometimes the illness is temporary. Sometimes it's permanent. I've had/have "E. All of the above." (I've gotten through physical and mental illness in some cases, and haven't gotten past physical and mental illness in some cases.)

If your illness comes down to nightmares, it is treatable, until it is no more. If it's physiological, it's life long, and your help should be helping you learn how to live with it.

Anything specific you ant to ask? (And not saying you have to. I do get it's scary to tell strangers some stuff.)

Then how do you explain death? Seems to me that not getting out of this world alive, tends to disprove "There is nothing Christ won't or can't heal."

everyone Christ healed eventually finished their time on earth and were taken home, it was never His intention we go home before our time. Nothing to "explain" kind of Christianity 101.
Jesus never sent anyone to a Dr.

And when you can heal people like Jesus did, you don't have to either. (Real Christianity 101.)
