Hi!

I've been interested in making tea as a hobbie, and I would like to know if there's a community, web page, Facebook group or whatever where I can find other people interested in making tea for fun ( as weird as it sounds, LOL)

Also, I have an hormonal disbalance I've been able to control with this cyclical diet
4-Week Cyclical Hormonal Health Plan | The Dr. Oz Show
and I would like to know if there are some herbs I should be careful of.

Thanx!

Can i ask what hormone imbalances you have? I have thyroid, adrenal, and progesterone imbalances..and my cortisol levels are probably through the roof too. I take meds and supplements for all three. (Synthroid, Naturathyroid, DHEA, stress-B complex, adrenal support supplement, and progresterone cream.) I might also being going through peri-menopause too. I think i'll have to try that dr. oz plan! thanks for sharing that!! :)

Well, I don't really remember about what hormones were wrong, but I know my imbalance is/was caused by stress and poor alimentation. Once I fix that I don't have any problems with my monthly "visits".

When I went to the gynecologist and endocrinologist they made me take "the pill" for 3 months... after that I left the treatment and started this cyclical diet ( the pills made feel weird and I didn't like it). The only problem I've had since then was at the begining of this semester. I was under a lot of pressure, so I guess that caused me to miss one month of my period.
This diet is really good. I totally recommend it. But I'm a little worried about my teas, because I know that some herbs can interfer with hormones.
