I'm always skeptical of this kind of stuff, but with a global recession looking nearer and nearer, Russia invading Ukraine, 2 hurricanes hitting Florida so soon after each other, politics everywhere becoming radical, tensions over Taiwan rising, and the rapid leader switch in the United Kingdom I am a bit worried

I think we're starting to see a lot of birth pains, but the end may still be a ways off. In any case, we who trust the Lord have nothing to fear. We've been told beforehand how it would all play out, and we know it must be. The scriptures warn that in the last days many false prophets will arise and mislead many. There are indeed very many false prophets these days getting people worried, saying the rapture and doomsday are just around the corner. Personally I don't pay them any mind.

Actually, we are seeing the prophecy of the mark of the beast being fulfilled. Right now I attend a college which is doing away with cash and forcing the use of direct deposits and electronic transfers and only accepts debit and credit cards.

ODSP is going the same way.

We are going to see the fulfilling of Revelation Chapter 13 verses 16-18 in our day and I suspect it will not be too long.

The Apostles thought the end of time would come in their day and every generation after would warn of the same thing.

That being said doesn't eliminate the possibility. You have nothing to fear of the end times because as a Christian you will be protected and taken away before the Revelation events.

That also doesn't imply that what we see now are the signs of the end, they simply may be birth pains just as WW1, WW2, Famines, Covid-19, etc.

It isn't the end to fear but what leads to the end we should have proper concern saturated in God's Word so that we may not fear what may or may not come across the news.

Our best and only hope will always be the return of Christ.

I'm wondering if you posted this in the wrong section. Actually it would be a good idea to have a separate section devoted to Bible prophecies. And yes, we are rapidly approaching the reign of the Antichrist since Satan's minions are hyper-active today,

Welcome, dear sister. :)(y):coffee:

Yes, the end times are coming. Every day is one day closer to the Rapture. You should not be worried. You should look forward with joyful anticipation.

Luke 21:28
“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

1 Thessalonians 4:18
“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

1 Thessalonians 5:9
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”

Every generation has believed that the end times are here. Can you imagine how people worried during the terrible plague in Europe or when London was consumed by flames? We now have the ability to know every bit of news in virtually real time, something impossible not so long ago.

Yes, I believe that we are nearing the last days. We should be glad, not worried! The world hates God's people and many Christians suffer terrible persecution. The Kingdoms of the world will be brought to nothing and the Kingdom of our God and His Christ will come instead. I may not live to see that day (I'm 72) but I look forward to it, not fear it.

Nice to have you joining the discussions and fellowship here at CC!!! God has everything in control and in His perfect timing, it says at a time we won't expect Mt 24:36, up we go🙌😂 'The Lord Jesus bids you also to "occupy until He comes." By that He means that you are to do His work on earth — like one who continually looks for His return. You are to be like the faithful servant, who knows not what hour his master may come home — but keeps all things in readiness, and is always prepared' Lk 19:11-13. Welcome and God bless & keep you!
