Hi Lovelight,
First I want you to know that Jesus loves you so very much. God does not judge us like people do. The Bible says, So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1.
Once you ask Jesus to come into your life, forgive you of your sins and come into your life, you are saved. There will always be a battle in the flesh. The Bible says, The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. In other words, there will be a struggle because we are still in this corruptible body. What can we do? We continue to seek God by reading his word, praying and seeking him. We are not perfect but forgiven. When I make mistakes, I just God to help me, repent and move on. God is not sitting on the throne just waiting for you to fall to get you. He knows your heart. Look at Peter in the Bible. Peter denied Jesus three times. Jesus knew that Peter was scared. Peter felt so bad that he wept. But when he saw Jesus again (after Jesus rose from the dead), Jesus asked him did he love him. Peter said yes. Then Jesus said, "feed my sheep." So Jesus cared about Peter and wanted him to know that he had work to do. When you fear there is a passage that says, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. I get scared and fearful at times but I just quote those words and do it ......afraid. God will come through and give you the strength you need. Again God loves you. The enemy wants you to think that you are defeated, hopeless and going to hell. The key thing is stick to the Word. Quote the Word, speak it out loud. When those thoughts come, stand on God's Word. It's our sword.
Are you in church? Do you have a family of other believers? It would be good if you can fellowship with other believers. That is another key to get you strong.
