I’ve heard when our minds have been given into evil it’s a long and difficult journey to transform them into Good thoughts.

Yes, but Gods grace and forgiveness is something else.
And the journey is well worth it, but let God do the work, He is the potter, we are the clay.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Don’t waste another day outside of His will..

Of course, that is called faithfulness. Holding to faith regardless of our situation in life.

But I meant what comes to mind when you think of the Holy Spirit?

Reason I ask because it could be a misunderstanding on who the Spirit is.

Just as underwhosewings said, it is walk not a sprint. Once you have surrendered to Christ and believe in Him as your Lord and Savior, He sends the Holy Spirit to indwell within you. He will be your helper, the one that guides you, and makes known the ways of God. He will convict sin and you will begin to feel disgusted by sinful actions or sinful thoughts. This is the process of sanctification.

Once saved, your sin has been atoned for by the blood of Christ. God seeing you through the lens of Christ calls you holy, redeemed, righteous, Saint, child, and prince. That is what Jesus did for us.

We still deal with the flesh but we are no longer bound to sin. We now can work in step with the Spirit to live out our holy righteous calling. It will be lifelong as we will not achieve perfection until we are glorified on the day we enter Heaven.

Absolutely.

Right.
Just claim the victory. Don't let feelings trip you up. Salvation is based on solid eternal facts, not transient feelings.

Growth is slow and gradual, but salvation is not.

Luke 23:43
“And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

That was spoken to a thief who had lived his whole life in sin and had only then called out to Jesus.

I honestly feel like giving up on Christ. I have NO remorse over my sin, none whatsoever, for example I viewed inappropriate content on my phone and felt no remorse over it. I’ve seared my conscience beyond recovery. I curse the day I was born and will the second after I die.

The day I realised that I didn’t actually know where I was going when I died, I did as occasion served me.
I survived the drive home from the Christian church meeting without any car accident or dropping into hell.
I put my little children to bed.
I purposed in my heart to then remain on my knees in prayer to God, for as long as it took, to get an answer from God, where was I going when I died.
God spoke one word to me, “repent, repent,” and opened my eyes to the fact that my repentance had only been an outward thing. I had not given to God my will. God granted me full repentance.
It has been a journey of all sorts, but we triumph in Christ.

When I pray I know my mind I get extremely resistant. It is NOT spiritual warfare at all. My conscience doesn’t bite me at all. I will die any day and it is giving me anxiety. GOD has given me over to a reprobate mind and hardened my heart. I WILL curse the day I was born. Trust me. I will. Seeking Him is wasting my time. It hasn’t done me any good. I wish He NEVER created me.

Also God doesn’t care about my agony and my suffering that has built up in me for years. Time has shown that He doesn’t.

Why should He care, you don’t want Him.

I hope those strangers bringing up Jesus to me were signs that He is getting my attention.

You should be caring about His agony
He took for you
that you might choose life.

Wasting YOUR time
Stop looking at yourself
It’s about God and His House/ Church
Clearly He has called you.

God has given you His Son.
That you might have eternal life.
That is extremely caring.
No one could care more than that.
