Whatever you choose to do, make sure you have your faith fully entrusted in Jesus Christ. God's word is what you should listen to and what you should take to heart, because that is HIM speaking, not man, and any denomination or other so called religion is man-made. One has no good works apart from those that the Holy Spirit produces in the heart of a believer. One must be emptied of self to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Not emptied of possessions but emptied of pride and the self righteousness pride produces.
Believers are passed from judgment into eternal life because of the blood of Christ. Those who stand before the Great White Throne and are judged are all condemned to the lake of fire for all eternity.
Jesus took my place in judgment that I might receive all the blessing that are His.
2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;†
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.Ӡ
The Ascension
19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

Hmm well i don't agree with everything that the guy who created this thread is saying mainly because I'm too lazy to read all of that but i think we can all agree that faith without works is dead and that displaying fruit should be admired because if we don't show fruit we are not saved, not because our works save us but because the faith that saves people WILL bring fruit that's made clear in the bible. There is nothing wrong with admiring people who God has done a good work in and saying that people who give up everything for the sake of Christ are like the Pharisee's (i could be taking some stuff out of context forgive me if i am) is completely wrong because that's what Jesus cammands all over the bible...the difference between religion and biblical faith is that religion would give up everything to in a way bribe God or earn salvation while saving faith would believe and trust in Christ sacrifice and BECAUSE of being saved we will produce fruit some people will be like monks focusing on Christ completely and there's nothing wrong with that at all but not everyone has to leave into the wilderness and fast for 40 days hopefully that all makes sense and is on topic cx.
Oh and i do want to clarify that I'm against the Catholic Church because they take like everything out of context i dont believe we are the same thing there is Christianity then Catholicism they are not the same things at all just because we both talk about the name Jesus doesn't mean we are the same..... Js
