Dude, you're on a talkboard on the inter webs... it's not like we're all sitting around ye olde campfire singing spirituals together

It's OK and all, but not close to being with other believers in person ya know.

First all not saying the OP is a new believer but for new believers responding to Gods calling and searching more into the faith. This site may be the most comfortable place to a new believer and as they grow they will feel more comfortable going to a church. Church can be scary to sinners.

And 2nd even if the OP is not a new believer she may be feeling distant in her church, or have social anxiety, or her church is failing to reach her.

In a way, it is. Yes, 'in-person' is far better, and God's wish for us, but I have just spent two weeks playing around on a forum I used to frequent................ and let me assure you that it is like a breath of God's clear, clean air to return here (even if many of us fight like cats and dogs.)

The warmth of God can be felt here on this one forum far more than on many other "Christian" forums.

Thank you, your response really hit home for me. This sight is just the first step for me and learning and growing in faith. Church will be my big next step. I don't know why I'm afraid.

Nothing says you have to go to a regular church until you really feel like you truly WANT to.

Amen brother! I'm just a Christian trying to find her way through the chaotic mess of this world. Just trying to find clarity and wisdom along the way. Increasing Faith and never giving up. Always looking towards the Lord.
